Gun was anxious.

It was almost noon and Off would be arriving any minute now so they could go have lunch and talk.

But that wasn't the reason he was anxious.

Gun wasn't worried about having lunch with Off. He was actually looking forward to it. It was something he knew needed to happen so the two of them could have some closure on their seven year relationship. They didn't get to have it four years ago but now was the perfect time.

They were both older and different people than four years ago. They both needed the past four years apart to grow and figure out what they wanted. And from the looks of how Off's career had taken off it had been the right choice. Off was at the top of his career at the moment and no longer tried to please everyone. Gun had kept tabs on what Off had been up to during the past four years and every time he saw Off had won an award or was starring in a new film he felt proud and happy for him. He knew he'd made the right choice. Gun had left Thailand and moved to Paris. He had figured out his future there and made new friends. For the first time in his life he'd felt like he knew what he was doing and was happy there. But he also knew eventually he would return home.

So, no, Gun wasn't nervous about talking to Off for the first time in four years.

What Gun was anxious about was Fluke and Earth's argument that morning.

Fluke had been distracted all morning. He'd almost burned himself five times, he dropped three cakes, and he's spilled three drinks in the last two hours.

"Fluke, are you sure you don't want me to stay? I can call Off and reschedule. He won't mind." Gun said as they both restocked the snacks in the stands in front of the counter.

"No, you go and have lunch with Off. I'll be fine." Fluke said, giving Gun a small smile.

"Are you sure?" Gun asked.

"Yes, I am capable of taking care of the bakery for a few hours." Fluke reassured Gun.

Gun nodded and debated asking the next question but he knew he had to ask.

"Have you talked to Earth since this morning?" Gun asked.

Fluke froze for a second but then continued restocking.

"Umm, no. I haven't talked to him since...well you know." Fluke said and sighed. "He hasn't answered any of my calls or texts."
