The evening started out like any other evening at the Mystic Grill. Kol mikaelson had found his usual seat at the bar, drining his way through the liquor supply of the small town restaurant. He looked around a bit, seeing the busboy Matt Donovan that his sister Rebekah liked standing behind the bar. Kol smirked a little to himself when he thought about the night he broke Matt's hand, even though it wasn't half as satisfying as killing him wouldv'e been.
Kol sighed and took a sip of his drink, thinking about how he could make this night a little more interesting. He had a look at some of the nice, perky waitresses that were walking around in the restaurant, debating which one he would have for a late night snack. His attention diverted from the waitresses to the entry of the Grill when the door openend, seeing a greasy old guy walk in, followed by a small group of girls who were chatting and laughing. Kol smirked to himself cheerleaders.
He recognized one of the girls as Caroline Forbes, the girl his brother fancied. Kol could see why. Pretty face, nice body, Cheerleader, a tasty little thing. He knew most of the girls by face, since he has seen them around a few times. He also remembered he might have had one or two of them for dinner at a time, but he erased their memory of him ever doing that.
But this time, there was one girl in the group he hadn't seen before. Was she new in town? Kol tried to remember if he had seen her before, but then figured that wasn't the case, because you don't forget a face like that. The girl was about 5ft 8, she has long slender legs, long brown hair, a gorgeous smile, he wouldv'e remembered her.
The group of girls sat down at a table and ordered a few drinks when a waiter came by. Kol had his eyes on only one of them, the one he hadn't seen before, the one that seemed flawless from the outside. Like a child, Kol liked new things,or as he liked to call it, his new toys. He normally didn't like having someone to drink from regulary, but from time to time he was in for it.
He saw the blonde vampire Caroline look up meeting his gaze, making him look away from the group quickly before she would notice him starin at one of her friend. The last thing he needed was her growing suspicious of him. Kol turned himself back to the bar and ordered himself a new drink.
After a few sips Kol smelled something, a really familiar smell that made his eyes turn dark and hunger grow. Turning aroud again, he saw the smell came from the girl with the brown hair, who had cut her finger open. He watched her every move, seeing her putting the tip of her finger in her mouth in order to suck up some of the blood. Kol felt his fangs trying to make their way to the surface and he tried to contain himself, not wanting to draw any attention to him. It had been a while since he had a proper meal, and this girl would definitely suffice. The smell of her blood alone drove him crazy, let alone the taste. He could only imagine how good her blood would be.
The girl got up from her seat and made her way over to him. Or not really him, she was actually walking to the bar, but since he was sitting there, she was basically walking over to him.
She stood next to him, leaning over the bar to get the attention of the busboy Matt. He could now hear her voice loud and clear, without the other cheeleaders rattling through it. It was a nice voice to listen to, not high pitched, not annoying, just nice.
"Excuse me, Matt? Could I get a plaster? I cut my finger."
"Sure, I'll be back in minute" Matt replied and walked off.
Kol leaned on his right arm that was placed on the bar and turned himself to the brunette, knowing this was a golden chance to get to talk to her. "Thats a nasty cut you go there."
The girl's head snapped in his direction, probably a little startled by him talking to her. The little panic that he could read off her face quickly vansished and her lips twisted into a smile, "Yeah, I guess. I'm just a bit clumsy." she said with a small shrug.
