Somewhere Over the Rainbow (by me)

Somewhere over the rainbow,
Demons swarm with their riggid, black wings.
The sound of their penetrating screams
Fills the murky, gray sky.
Making the clouds burst like fireworks,
Their thirteen foot wing violently bat up and down.
I'm not used to this.
This unapproached territory.
I just came from under the beautiful rainbow.
Up here,
Over the rainbow,
All the colors are faded from the once beautiful rainbow.
Mahogany,
Amber,
Mustard,
Forest green,
Denim,
Eggplant.
My rainbow has been destroyed,
Destroyed by them!
These monsters!
