As time goes by,
I fall into a trance.
Deep down under,
Where harmony reins supreme.
Calm, tranquil, breezeless.
Hushed voices whisper dreams
Into my intrigued ear.
They play out in my vision
And whims beyond reality.
To last forever,
Is my only wish.
But one must realize
How fast time goes,
When in a slumber.
I can only hope so much
That whatever dreams are planned,
That conclude my fate,
Write history in a pleasing way.
I can only hope my dreams are bright,
When I lay in bed late tonight.
