It's a busy life.

Managing to balance work, a relationship, a house to maintain and being able to not have all of your energies completely dried out at the end of the day it's a hard work. And you're not the only one trying to balance all of this.

Rindou, on his side, is probably carrying a weight even heavier than yours.

He's the second Haitani, everybody knows him for that around the city, since the day he was born he already had this big surname to take care of since his older brother, despite his very, very young age, was already settling things here and there making himself famous around for his sketchy vibes.

And unfortunately things evolved on this line, the fact of being "the second of the Haitanis" didn't bother him for a lot during his childhood, but the moment his personality started to get more defined this shadow thrown over him was starting to feel uncomfortable.

Let's not get the things wrong, Rindou is grateful for Ran, he's his partner in crime, they shared so much together that their brotherhood is enviable, even if they have completely different characters they really get along, they care for each other, and obviously Rindou and him are proud of where they've arrived and who they became.

So, the fact is, that he still wants to be a person, he still wants to be considered a thinking mind, a good one either, to have his own way to stand out, so that everybody around him will not just consider him "Ran's second".

It was his scream to the world, he didn't want to be just a side character on this story, he wants to be recognized for who he is.

So it's not like something everyone would notice, actually almost anybody did, but everyday when he stepped outside the door of your penthouse, he had to put on a thick layer, or even better an amplifying one, to help him stand out from his brother shadow.

It's like a routine now, he's so used to it that most of the times he doesn't even do this switch of personality consciously, but when some tough days are kicking in, or if the Bonten members are not really getting along about some decision, this personality switching becomes heavier and heavier.

But as said, once he came back home, he finally could be himself once again, his true self. It's not like you don't know what he does outside, maybe you don't have all the details, but you can tell anyway how exhausted he is when he arrives, he announces it with just a whisper of voice, his tired eyes who just search for some comfort, shoulders a little bit slumped.

It's nothing new, it's sad but you're used to it, it happens from time to time, and you're more than happy to help Rindou feeling better. When he feels like this actually he can't wait to get home to you because he knows you can always make him feel better, you like him for who he is, you love him even, and just like that it's good for him, but you can't just sit there doing nothing, you also help him relax, getting rid of that heavy weight on him, teaching him how to loose a little control and trust you with it, and every time you remind him of all of this all he can do is just oblige and lets himself fall in your tender and loving arms and let himself drown in your sweet words.

It's a been few days now that you're noticing the gradual mood change in Rindou, every night he gets home a little bit more tired than the previous day, so you deduce it must be happening again.

There is this big contract that him and the guys are trying to conclude, it's been months that they're talking about it, trying to manage something useful out of it, it was something about various properties if you didn't get it wrong, but every single time they almost got to a conclusion, something or somebody came up with new problems to resolve before closing the contract, and this week they were having meeting non-stop trying to finally set this out, not only in the office but things almost didn't stop even when he came home, he was always on his phone trying to speed the process up, losing out in health instead, both physically and mentally.
