Today was their final full day in Kyoto. Tomorrow they will be taking the train back to Tokyo before flying back home to Seoul. Today the couple decided to have a free and easy day, since arriving in Kyoto they had not done much shopping, mostly sightseeing. So today they were going to focus on some shopping and ending the evening with a romantic dinner. Seookhoon had already made reservations at a luxury Michelin star restaurant where they can enjoy their last meal in style.

They decided to squeeze in one last museum visit before heading back home. The Kyoto National Museum was located not far from their ryokan. After a late breakfast, they headed down to the museum to look at the extensive collection featuring a wide variety of cultural properties, including archaeological relics, sculptures, ceramics, calligraphy, costumes and paintings.

They spent about a good 2 hours in the museum, before heading back down to the downtown of Kyoto - Shijo Street. The area consisted of departmental stores featuring luxury goods to independent and local brands. Rona really liked some of the styles of the Japanese designs. After they ate lunch, they went to explore the different shops around the area. 2 hours later, Rona and Seokhoon were carrying several bags of clothes and items. Although Seokhoon was feeling bored, he didn't have the heart to stop his wife, so he waited until she herself got bored before they headed back to the ryokan.
