After about a thirty minute ride, the cab pulled up to the collage. People were everywhere, and it was crazy.I looked out the window for about a minute before I acctualy got out of the cab. I felt like getting out meant it was real.
I opened the door and walked around to the trunk where a kid wearing a yellow shirt was grabbing my stuff out of the back and putting it on a cart. I slowly took my headphones on and cringed a little at how loud everything was. Mother's crying about there kids leaving, friends screaming and hugging, car horns blaring, it was all to much.
I grabbed some of my stuff out of the back and turned to look at the campus. There were people sitting in the court yard, guys in lawn chairs acting like complete douche bags, and girls that brought there entire house with them. God... this was going to be the worst. The buildings were nice though. Tall red bricked buildings, with archways and big beautiful windows.
I turned to start looking for where I was suppose to go, when I realized there was a skinny, perky, blond girl was standing was way to close to me. "Welcome to Barden!" she said just like you would imagine a peppy popular blond would say it. "Which dorm?" the girl said. "Uhh Baker Hall I think." I said with shock because she startled me a little. "Great so you're going to go right over-" I kinda zoned her out because I heard someone singing.
I turned to my right to see a guy, who looked about my age, singing Supernatural's- Don't You Cry No More. He was a pretty good looking guy. He had his hair combed, and a really awesome smile!
"Lay your weary head to rest. Don't you cry no more! No!" he belted out as I smiled like an idiot at him. He went on into the guitar solo looking right at me and smiling at me. As his car moved suddenly, he slammed into the seat behind him. I laughed as the car drove away and then realised that this girl was still talking to me.
"And here is your official BU rape whistle!" she said handing me a small green whistle. 'What was this gonna stop?' I thought. "Don't blow it unless its actually happening!" she said enthusiastically.
I stuck the whistle between my teeth and walked away, bumping into her shoulder while doing so. "Hmmp" she hummed with her nose in pointed in the air.
I walked into the court yard trying to figure out where the hell I was suppose to go. Whatever, I'll figure it out. I looked around and took a deep breath. Jesus this is going to be hell.
