"You," Dean started around his mouthful of food. "Are a handful."

"You have two hands." You sassed and Sam chuckled.

You were sat beside Dean, bumping elbows in the small booth, Sam across from the two of you, a gentle smile on his face as he watched.

"Just kiss and make up." Sam added, taking a drink. "I'm not going to listen to you two argue all the way home."

You smiled, thinking about picking at Dean. The three of you just finished up a case about four hours north of the bunker, but Dean requested that you all eat dinner and get a good night's sleep before heading out in the morning.

"Please." Dean scoffed. "You'd probably have your nose stuck in your phone and not be paying attention anyways."

"Oh, whatever, Dean." Sam rolled his eyes, lifting his phone and shaking it in his hand. "If that were the case, I wouldn't have an issue with it now."

"Come on Sam," You elbowed Dean's arm, making a fork full of food crash into his cheek instead of his mouth. "You know it's fun to watch."

Sam laughed at Dean as he stared at his fork before facing you, his food slowly dripping off his face and back down into his plate. You giggled, turning to your plate and taking a bite of the burger Dean had convinced you to try.

You couldn't wait to get home.

After finishing up a case just outside of the bunker, something Sam found while you all were headed home, the tension between the three of you was thick. The case was going well, until it came down to the final blows and both Winchester boys had been compromised.

So, doing as the boys would in your situation, you blew your own cover to be able to give Sam and Dean a chance at getting away. You knew as soon as you did it they were mad. Especially Sam.

But the boys accomplished what you had hoped, and you fought just as hard as they did when the nasty pack of werewolves figured out you were a distraction.

The three of you got out with little to no injury, so you didn't understand why the boys were still upset.

You leaned back in the back seat, crossing your arms and letting out a quiet "hmpf." This action only caused Sam to turn his head and glare at you, Dean ignoring it.

By the time you all got back to the bunker, you were shaking in anticipation. You followed the boys in the door and down the stairs, hands trembling, waiting for one of them to give.

When Dean's bag landed a little too heavily on the table, you flinched and he pinched his nose in frustration. Sam tossed his bag on the table with no room to try and convince you he was doing it gently.

"Can you all. . . Just say what you're thinking?" You finally broke the silence and Sam looked up at you and Dean frowned at the table. "Please? I know you're mad."

"I'm not mad." Dean answered.

"I am." Sam didn't give Dean any room to try to say anything further. "What you did was stupid."

Your mouth fell open at his words. Of course you knew words would be exchanged when they decided to open up about what happened, but you weren't expecting that.

"Hey." Dean snapped.

"Dean!" Sam huffed, throwing up his hands and looking at his brother momentarily before focusing on you.

"I did what both of you would have done." You stated calmly, trying not to anger him further. "I knew I couldn't take them alone, Sam."

"Of course you couldn't." Sam snapped and your face dropped at his aggression.
