You were tired, it's actually an understatement since you're burned out with everything that was going on. You plop down your couch with a loud thud and a satisfied sigh. It was a Friday and you have no work for the next two days.
You passed out on the couch for hours, now feeling a blanket draped over your body. You conclude that someone saw you on the couch. You make your way to your shared bedroom and find someone asleep peacefully.
"Hey," You take the empty spot on the bed. "I'm sorry that I didn't wake up to greet you, love."
You wrapped your arms around her waist and you pulled the blankets to you too. She faces you, eyes still closed and the corner of her lips spiking up. She blinks once, twice, and gets her eyes adjusted to the light.
"Don't worry about it, I know you're tired." She says, tangling her legs with yours. You feel your muscles relax and your eyes shut down, again. You promise that the next morning, you'll make up for it and Sana knows.
She wakes up with an empty bed, with the smell of coffee coming out from the kitchen. She makes her way to you, on the espresso machine, making coffee.
You were facing back and she took the opportunity of back hugging you. You felt her warm breath and her lips close to your ear, she gave your ear a small peck and that made you look at her as you waited for the coffee.
"Good morning, love." She says, still in her sleepy voice.
"Good morning to you too. Go sit down! Breakfast will be ready in a minute." You say as the coffee is finished. You pour it into a nice mug and serve it at the table too.
You kissed her forehead before sitting down on the other side of the dining table. You find her smiling at that act. You two say your greetings before eating the food that you made.
"So good!" She exclaimed as she took a bite of the fresh waffles that you made. You smile at her, being the cutest thing in the universe in front of you.
"So cute!" You point at her and you reach out to pinch her cheeks. She took hold of your hand and she pouted.
"That hurt." She sulked. You make your way to her side and you kiss her cheek.
"Sorry, you were too cute." You apologize, with a smile. Before you went to your side of the table, your cheek was pinched by Sana. You put your hand to where she pinched it. "That hurt."
She went to kiss it too. She smiled as she sat down and continued to eat. You smile as you make your way to your seat.
Breakfast was nice as you talked over stuff that you haven't because of your hectic week. She was also tired and glad that she doesn't have a schedule.
"Any plans for today?" She asks while cleaning up the dishes.
"Nothing." You back hug her and you kiss her cheek. "Wanna go somewhere?"
