you jumped over the glass onto the platform, it felt like you had been playing this game for hours, you looked around, noticing it was only you four, that didn't sound very good

suddenly the glass panels explode, you throw your arms around sae byeok who was in front of you to protect her

you felt a strong pain in your lower stomach, you accidentally squeeze sae byeok tighter due to the sudden pain

the four of you slowly make your way back to the main room, you notice there are only four beds, revealing the walls with all the previous games you had played

you try to make your way to the closet bed, limping trying to deal with the pain, sae byeok notices and helps you walk the rest of the way, lying you down on the bed, you try to ignore the sounds of gihun and sangwoo, you could tell gihun was mad at him, he had pushed that man off because he taking too much time

gihun is your boyfriend, he had been for a few months, apparently the both of you had been contacted by the same guy that got you in this place, the two of you tried not to be as affectionate here so people wouldnt see and try to hurt one of us to hurt the other

gihun always spoke so highly of sangwoo, the games were the first time you met him, he was...not what you expected, to say the least

suddenly the doors open with the pink soldiers walking in with four neat boxes

"remaining players, we'd like to congratulate you on completing the first five games, we'd like to give you a present, but first please change into the clothes we brought you" now you have to get back up, it seemed impossible in that moment but you managed

you and saebyeok went to the bathrooms to get changed, you told her to come so she could help you

she wasn't expecting the glass lunged into your skin though

she winced at the dried blood around it, you told her to get it out, she thought it was a bad idea, if you ever have something like that in you you should keep it in to not bleed out and die

but you begged her so she did it, slowly, trying not to hurt you as you bit down on your lips, trying not to scream in pain

she finally gets it out with alot of struggling, quickly ripping her shirt in half to put it around you like a bandage, doing the same to your own shirt

sae byeok helps you into the outfit they gave you, it was a suit that fit you perfectly

once everyone is done you walk back into the main room, along with the beds now being a huge square table in the middle with candles and other decor

you sit on the nearest chair, watching as the others do the same, you stare not so subtly at gihun, admiring how good he looked in a suit, even in a situation like this

he looks up at you and gives a faint smile, you try to return the gesture but a sudden pain shoots through your body, causing your smile to look painful, he gives a worried look and looks like he wants to talk, but the guards interrupt silently as they place trays on your respective sides

it was a well prepared steak meal with buns and other side dishes, plus a glass of wine, much better than the other foods you had been given

you slowly pick up your fork and knife, being the first one to do so as the others follow your movements
