Today a girl named Lexie had moved in across the street. My mom said to go over and meet her , so i had no choice (as usual). So I headed over and they were out side gardening. I had said "hi my name is emily" happily tring to sound cheerful. "Hi I am Lexie" she said shyly. I was kind of woried because she sounded scared. After that she left with her head held down in shame. I wondered about her past , but I did not want to ask. So I left in wonder. That night I layed in bed in wondering about her . I wish I knew more about her past. I finally fall asleep. When I awoke I heard a loud scream so , I went running down the stairs in fear. When I had got to the bottom of the stairs I had saw my mom being draged out the door. I ran out screaming for help , but it seemed that I my voice was not there. Then all of the sudden I felt weight on my shoulders. Almost like someone was stopping me. I could not do anything , but stand there in shock and scared-ness.
