Chapter 1 "Fire"

"Luca!"
"Luca, can you hear me?!"
"Luca, please wake up!"

Screaming, that's all I heard, the sound of desperation clinging into my ears and flowing through my mind and still didn't reach the thought of what was happening. My body... my body felt heavy and it burned as if I've been inside a burning oven and felt an immensely painful cut behind my neck. As I reached my opened wound I felt sweat all over my neck, chest and face. I opened my eyes slowly feeling tears falling down my jawline until my chest... A woman, a woman was screaming my name again and again. I saw saw blood stains in her blouse and in her hands touching my face. Then... A man took her from the arm and pleaded her to come with him to get out of the building, but she denied while she forcefully pulled her arm away from the mans grasp. As he ran aways from the room I saw the woman staring into my eyes and holding my chin upwards so I could see her face, but I couldn't see a single thing of her being, everything was a blur to me.... She came closer to my ear and she said something.... something I couldn't hear because of the fire alarms highly pitched sounding from the other side of the room. As she drove her lips away from my ear, she backed away and held a weapon on her hands.... A gun, as she slowly pulled it close to her head and without hesitation pulled the trigger...

* BANG*

I flinched as the sound made my ears ring... She shot herself, falling into the ground... Blood dripping down her whole being and filling the floor with blood making a full pool of it... I couldn't believe it. The room started to fill with the mix of blood and an unaware smell surrounding the area.
As I looked around 'Fire' I thought as I saw smoke floating above me, ashes falling on my clothe, bleeding walls and heating waves flowing stinging through my nose making me cough while I tried to get up, but was unable to because of a wooden plank stuck above my legs.... I stood up trying to push the heavy object away from my legs, but I was too weak to do it... My lungs felt full of smoke and burned my body as hell I couldn't resist myself anymore. I laid down waiting to see the light of a new world waiting for me on the other side... I closed my eyes and heard a voice yelling "We found one".

I opened my eyes and saw a room, a white room, with a person, no, a doctor standing next to me and applying a small flash light in my eyes and when he removed it from my sight he said, "Hello my name is Dr. Stanley I'm just gonna ask you some simple questions to know how you are." He pulled out a transparent board with papers on it and asked,
"Can you hear me?"
I nodded
"Can you say something for me?"
...."W-where am I?"
" You are in a hospital you had a fire in your home and now you are taken care of with us" The doctor said while writing on his transparent board as I noticed holding an anonymous picture from behind of a little girl hugging a man, I'm thinking she's his daughter.
"Can you remember anything or anyone you can think of?"
...." I don't think so" "No" I admitted.
The doctor wrote something on his board again and asked, " Do you know your name?"
... "My name is Luca".
