Chapter no.9 Project

This is my first day at my new workplace. Hope I have good colleagues. after my morning routine we all girls had our breakfast and went to our workplaces. as I arrived at the company I went straight inside I got a bit late because of the traffic. the receptionist recognized me and told me that my project department is on the 39th floor.

I walked a bit hurriedly towards the elevator and the whole time in the elevator I kept tapping my foot out of nervousness.

I guess the music ain't helping today. I took a deep breath as the elevator opens and walked out.

I saw the department label I didn't see it yesterday when I had my interview here. As I was walking in the hallway I saw so many beautiful mannequins and glass interiors.

Everything is so elegant, fancy and expensive. I walked inside to see 6 people. Everyone greeted me and I greeted them too. we were three females, four males, together for this project.

"Hello, I'm Marvin Maxwell I'm the Project Manager I'll be always there to help you all out," he said to all of us.

"Now everyone can introduce yourself please and I hope we all get well along," he said clapping his hands.

"Hello everyone I'm Carol Kim I'm originally from South Korea but I was born and brought up here," she said smiling. She is really cute wearing all pastel aesthetics.

Everyone clapped for her and took her seat again.

"Hello everyone I'm Brian William and I love fashion," he said.

Everyone clapped for him. I love the atmosphere for now like everyone is cheerful the project manager is an incredible person so far like encouraging.

"Hello everyone I'm Louis and I hope we all make sure to make this project a big hit" he really has a cool fashion the way he combines feminine and masculine in fashion is so creative.

Now my turn I stood up. "Hello, everyone first of all I'm sorry for being late" everyone just smiled at me like it's ok.

"Myself Ella Iglesias I'm happy to have you all as my teammates" I smiled and sat down. Everyone applauds.

"Hello, myself Lia as Louis said let's make this project a big hit together and all the best for us," she said.

"Hello everyone I'm Ryan," he said in his deep voice He look so gorgeous he could be a model himself too like both.

"I hope we all get along," he said in a stern tone and sat.

"So as everyone has introduced themselves very well we will start with the introduction of this project I'll explain all the main things which we have to keep in mind while executing this project and you all can design by yourself" Marvin explained to us.

We all decided how our project is going to be executed and our deadline and how our CEO will see every design and it will be confirmed by him lastly. As this is a big project he has to make sure everyone according to him.

That's great. We all started with some indulgent designs. Everyone was so creative. This feels like I'm in school.
But this is how it works.

As everyone was done with some designs. Marvin told me to take it to the CEO for some samples as it's our first.

"The CEO's office is on the 40th floor Ella," he said to me.

"Ok" I took the samples. As I headed towards the elevator I was a bit nervous.

As I entered the elevator I pressed the 40th button. It took few seconds only.

As I entered the 40th floor everything was black. The interior was stunning. Like black is my color I guess the CEO has great taste.

I walked towards his office has I knocked on the door and peeked inside and asked " Sir may I come in"

"Yes," he said in a deep voice. I couldn't really see as his chair was showing his back only his chair was even looking like a throne.

I walked inside and stand in front of him.

" Sir I'm Ella Iglesias from the new project team I'm here to show some samples of our project," I said with confidence and professionalism.

He spun his chair around as I saw him my eyes widen. And he just smirked at me. He was the last person I expected.
SEBASTIAN.

"You!" I said a bit loudly.

He raised his eyebrows then I released what I said I shouldn't talk to him like this so unprofessional.

"I'm sorry it's just" I averted my eyes everywhere but him.
