I was busy writing my essay that is due tomorrow morning when I heard my phone beep.
"Focus Lisa, you know you will fail the subject if you won't be able to pass this, right?" I chanted while trying not to get distracted with my phone which is now beeping for a couple of times already.
Damn it! This is so hard.
"You can just open it later right? When you're already done? Right." I sounded crazy talking to myself. But no, this is called intrapersonal communication hahahaha.
I decided to get out of my room and left my phone there. I went to our mini library sort of room and there I settled and started scribbling on my paper again.
After a few hours, I was able to finish my freaking essay. My head and hands are both hurting, damn.
I looked at the wall clock and realized it's almost midnight. That explains why my eyes felt like they're losing the battle already. I swear to God, I'll not procrastinate anymore. But who am I kidding?
I went out of the room and went straight to my bedroom. I immediately leaped into my bed.
"Oh, how I miss my bed." I hugged my pillow and now ready to doze off to dreamland when my phone started vibrating. Damn it.
I lazily stood up and marched towards the table and picked up my phone.
"Hello?" I answered the call without checking who could it be. "Who's this?"
"Li! Thank goodness, you picked up! I've been calling you for like a hundred times already!" I had to get my phone away from my precious ear because Jennie-unnie is literally screaming on the other line. "Lisa?"
"Yes, unnie. I can hear you clearly. No need to shout," I stated and heard her chuckle on the onther line. "What's the matter? For Pete's sake, it's already midnight." I can feel my body tired already. I want to sleep.
"Have you open our group chat?"
"I haven't. I was busy doing my essay. Why?" I curiously asked and sat on my bed.
"There will be transferee students from Europe. And guess what, they are going to be our classmates!"
"And?"
Did she just call me this late just to tell me that we will be having new classmates? Really?
"I heard they are also Koreans, and they're actually Suho-oppa's cousins," she excitedly stated and I really can't understand what makes it so exciting for her.
"Oh, Jisoo-unnie's boyfriend. And then?"
"That's it. If you want to see how they look so you will understand why I'm excited, just check it on our group chat. Jichu sent it hehe."
"Duh. I'm not interested on them. If that's all, I'll hang up already. I'm so sleepy," I muttered and yawn.
"Psh, not interested. Okay! Good night."
After the call ended, I lay comfortably on my bed. And found myself already scrolling down on our group chat.
I'm not interested, okay? I'm just uhm, curious. Yes! I'm just curious.
