Author's POV:

Life was hard for Akio. It still is of course, but he was starting to accept it. There's nothing weird here, the 'mama' everyone was calling looked beautiful and was really nice. The food here tastes delicious, better than what he had at home. But then again, what good food did he really eat at a home with two alchoholic adults? This mysterious place felt more like home than his actual home. If it made sense. Akio made a few friends with his great sense of humour, example of accidentally tripping over air, or getting scared over a dying roach. Oh wait the roach was Don.

That was basically what Akio wrote in his diary, rewritten in third person perspective of course.

"RAY! GIVE MY TOY BACK!!" Emma ran across the hallways, chasing Akio, but in the form of Ray.

"IT'S YOUR FAULT FOR POURING WATER ON MY BOOK!" Akio yelled back.

Everyone stared at them.

"Is this the Ray I know?" Gilda whispered to her bOyFrIeNd.

"As long as you get used to it, you'll be fine. However, to your question, I don't think so." Don replied nonchalantly. Or he pretended to be.

Don heard the conversation between Akio, Norman and Emma.

He knew who Akio was behind the cover of Ray, and that made him anxious.

Ray was one of the smartest. He was everyone's star. Now he's gone with someone that wasn't even half as smart as Don is pretending to be Ray?

Impossible.

Time skip, dinner.

"Mama, I want the tomato soup!"

"Mama, I want the katsudon!"

Everyone called her 'mama'.

Only Norman and Emma called her 'Isabella.'

Everything about them is weird, they refuse to sit near 'mama'.

They get very scared when someone mentions the name 'Conny'.

Why didn't they elaborate on the Demon world, instead, jump straight to Ray?

And why, does Norman look at him with disgust in his eyes.

All these questions occupied the spaces in his head, he felt too sad to eat. As he twirled his food with his fork, he heard a warm voice.

"Why aren't you eating?"

"..."

"I don't know."

The reason why he hesitated to answer wasn't because he didnt know, it was because the person he was talking to was Norman.

But why?

Another question was added to the list.

A.N: AAAAAA thank you so much for liking my story, I really appreciate it! Even though this chapter doesn't seem to make sense, but it contributes to the story behind. Why do you think Akio hesitated to answer to Norman? Again, thank you so much AAAAAAA!!! (Excited-ing)
