How Time Flies By

One Cold Rainy morning, sitting on a park bench was John he was happily reading the daily newspaper until he received the call. "Who are you?" John said it said Anonymous caller on the name so he was not sure "Look down on your left. That is my gift to you" so like any normal person he looks down and sees a watch but not just any watch a Golden Omega Watch he had always wanted one of them. "Whoa how did that get there?!" "Tick, Tock your time is running out" "Wait What..." "Beep, Beep" He hung up.

Later that morning John confused about what had happened walks away watch in hand off to the coffee shop to order some morning coffee to calm his nerves down. He then notices a strange man looking around the coffee shop for something and goes up to talk to him. "Hello" John says "Hey, the man replies as if he did not have a care in the world and was focused on finding this thing. John tries to engage with him "What are you doing?" "Looking for something" now a bit annoyed "Can I help" "Perhaps" John just feels as if he knows what he's looking for and says "Is this what you're looking for" showing the Golden Omega Watch "Where was it?!" John was trying to hold in how scary it was how he had this feeling but he managed to form a sentence "On the Park Bench across the road, anyway I have to get back to my coffee it will be getting cold" he suddenly leaves not letting the man say something.

Later that day John saw the man sprinting out of Woolworths he looked worried really worried. He waved his hands at John yelling stop the car and blocked him from exiting the parking lot. The man gets in John's Red Mazda and see's a won from lottery sticker but quickly John says "Who are you?!" demanding to know "Im Guy, but that's not important right now what's the time?" "And the time is important?" John states out of confusion. "Just what's the time your life depends on this would you rather die because you couldn't tell the time or of old age" "12:40" "it's already too late" "why" "Look I don't know how to tell you this but...
A few years back, the same thing happened to me with that very watch. That watch has a bomb implanted in the casing of it. It is activated at midday of the day that you receive it and the explosion happens at midnight. If any attempt to remove the watch happens it will instantly detonate. I had to track the anonymous callers number and make them deactivate the watch by giving them a ransom of 1 million dollars. So the bomb can be stopped if you have the money."
"How do I respond to that, I have no money your telling me I'm going to die!"
