Chapter Twenty-Six

When we arrived, everyone was already there. 

"Okay, let's start!" Namjoon, exhaling loudly. "Since we already knew that there were nine of them who came here to Jeju. Nayeon got killed by Jackson. Then Jisoo um, punished  Yugyeon and Irene."

"Wow, you're the only one that killed Yugyeon?" Jungkook exclaimed. His eyes widen, looking at me. 

"Uh, yeah," I looked away.

"I thought Taehyung was there?" He glance at Taehyung. "I thought you're the one who killed him knowing you have experience in fighting."

"Well, now that you mention it," Jin stated, now smirking. "When I saw them being attacked, Taehyung was already knocked out." He then laughed. 

Yoongi joined him, too which earned him a smack from Jennie.

"You're the one to talk, Jin," Taehyung scoffed. "I heard from Jisoo you run to get help."

Jin stood up from where his sitting. "Because I-" 

"Will you guys both shut up!" Namjoon cut Jin off. 

They went silent. 

Then suddenly Jungkook spoke again. "Damn, Yugyeon was the biggest of them. I heard he was the strongest, too. Guess, you're more powerful than him, huh." He added.

"Of course, she is. Didn't you just heard Jin explaining earlier about how powerful being a half-human and half dragon is?" Lisa stated, rolling her eyes at Jungkook.

"Of course I heard it, you witch. It was just a while ago. I was just amazed, we knew all of them are full dragon, they're powerful, too!" Jungkook shot back

I don't know how to react or even what to say. So I just stayed silent.

"Now, now. Are you kids done? Can the adults speak now?" Jennie stated. Which made everyone laugh. Well, except to the two who was still bickering.

"Well, that's actually the point," Yoongi stated, looking at me. Everyone then went silent. "We need Jisoo to draw out Jackson."

"What?" Taehyung snapped. "I already told you she wasn't going to be used as some bait!"

"Oh come on, Tae! We aren't going to dipped her in sauce and throw her into the cave!" Jennie stated.

Taehyung turned his gaze to Yoongi. "If you were in my position, would you let your wife do something like that?"

"Not in a million of years."

Jennie turned and glared at his husband.

"But I'm not the boss of her and I always supported her choices." Yoongi stated.

She smiled and faced us again. I saw Yoongi look at Taehyung and shake his head lightly. 

Jennie thought she had the upper hand in that relationship. But it was obvious Yoongi would go to extreme measures just to protect her whether she like it or not. 

And by Taehyung's reaction, he would probably felt the same way.

But I was with Jennie. I should have a choice. And my choice was to end this. For good. Jackson would keep striking at us, at everyone in this town. 

 And I know I'm the only one who can lure him out.

"I don't see any other idea popping out, Tae." Jin stated.

The  debate raged but I drifted away mentally. I was fucking scared as hell. Heck, I almost died when encountering two of them. 

But they are right. Jackson would instantly come out if he were to see me knowing that I'm mainly the reason for his spite and hatred.

"Right, babe?" Taehyung questioned pierced through my cloud of thoughts. I blinked at him, taken aback by his fierce gaze. "What?"

"You're not going. You've already done enough. I don't care if I go but you? I won't risk you." I saw his eyes filled with worry.

"I-" Before I could answer, Uncle Seo Joon and his team entered inside the room.

"I got the shields ready." He simply stated. I guess they all already meet.

"What shields?" I asked.

"It's made of metallurgy. We made some. It's fire proof." Suho stated. "Hi, Ji. I missed you." 

I glanced at Taehyung, he was already frowning. "Uh, Hi Suho. Glad you guys are safe."

He tried to reach for me, initiating a hug but before he could get closer. 

Taehyung instantly went in front of me and glare at him. "What are hell we're you trying to do?"

 "Ah, you must be what they're referring to." Suho backed away but matching Taehyung's gaze.  "Thank you for taking care of my bunny for me" 

He extended his arms for a handshake but Taehyung just arched his eyebrow and looked at it. 

Suho scoffed and put back his hand away. "Anyway, I'm Kim Jun-myeon, Jisoo's first love."

My eyes widen. Damn you, Suho. 

But before I could say anything. Taehyung spoke. "Doesn't matter. You're looking at her last." His gaze became more sharp. "Kim Taehyung, her mate for life." 

I gulped as nervousness overwhelmed me. 

"Now, now boys. Let's get along well here. We got some fight to attend to. We don't want misunderstandings to appear from the same side of the team." Chae went in front of them before I could do so and broke them apart from each other. 

Suho turned and walked away while Taehyung followed him by his eyes. His gaze not leaving him until he was already far enough.

"Damn, Tae. Will you behave yourself. Stop being so possessive." Chae scolded him and turned around and went back at everyone.

"Whatever." Taehyung then turned towards me. "How come you never told me about him?"

I glanced at him for a second then looked down. "I-" I looked up at him, pouted. "I'm sorry."

He exhaled deeply and hugged me tightly. "If you weren't so cute, I would be very mad right now." I giggled.

"Well, we got a lifetime with each other, anyway" I chuckled. "Right." I hugged him back.

"The more reason I have to do this." I stated.

He pulled away from the embrace. "What? Jisoo, no-"

I looked at everyone. "I'll do it." They all looked at me.

"Jisoo, please don't tell me you're not considering this.." Taehyung exclaimed.

"We won't be safe from them. Not ever. Not you, not me, not them." I took a step forward, facing everyone. "We must get him once and for all."

"Yeah!" They all responded in unison. 

"Damn right, we can get that son of a bitch!" Hoseok cursed.

We all gasped. "Damn that dragons making our sunshine curse." Taehyung hissed. We laughed.

 Taehyung pulled me in for a back hug. "Okay, let's do it." He leaned down and kissed my head.  I look up at him and smiled. "Together." we said in chorus.
