Remi -

The day started off better than yesterday. I didn't bump into Damon once at all, indicating he had other things entertaining his morning. By the time everyone had arrived, the food was already set at the large tables in the dining room. As I was cleaning in the kitchen, I heard the loud irritable squeal of no other than Jessica Blake, the betas sister. Ugh that girl. She was an entitled, barbie-wannabe b*tch and was the worst of them all for picking on me. I rolled my eyes, wondering what I could have possibly done wrong now as she called my name from the dining room. Every day she has something to complain at me about. I kept a straight face as I walked over to a very red-faced Jessica, her fingernails tapping on the table annoyingly.
'Yes, beta Jessica?' I asked her, avoiding eye contact. The last time I gave her eye contact, she almost peeled my eyes from my head. 'I need a napkin, NOW! Go on, slave, get on with it! I don't have all day.' She spat, looking at me with disgust. I nodded my head, holding my breath and bit my tongue as I tried not to laugh, looking down at the rather large wet patch on the front of her baby pink clothes. The material was so tight and see-through you could see her underwear. I made my way back to the kitchen, retrieving some napkins and making my way over to her, where she snatched them out of my hands and pulling an angry face as she got to work cleaning her mess. 'Well don't just stand there! Get me another drink you ugly dog' she exclaimed, staring daggers at me. I quickly nodded, proceeding my way back through the kitchen and continuing to bite my tongue. I have had many words thrown my way from Jessica, ugly dog was one of her favourites amongst the others. I had to bite my tongue and not say a word, I learnt from the mistake of talking back to her once before, resulting in me having a broken arm and black, swollen eye that took weeks to heal due to not having my wolf yet. By the time I entered the dining room the tables were all full. Warriors were greedily eating their breakfast, mud, blood and sweat coating their clothes and bodies from training and hunting. I noticed Damon was now sat at the table next to Jessica. Her once angry face now a flirtatious smile towards him, her body pressing up against him. He looked rather irritated as he talked to her brother, beta Jeremy who was sat at the other side of him. Jessica has always tried getting into Damon's pants, adamant that they are mates. Damon is 20 years old and still hasn't found his mate yet. Jessica is the same age as me, only one week apart. Her birthday is in two weeks, whereas mine is in three. Damon won't know who is mate is until they turn 18. I placed the drink on the table and quickly left the dining room, avoiding any unessary attention from Damon or his beta.

God she is so annoying. I could feel Jessica press her thin body against me as she tried to get my attention desperately. If it wasn't for my best friend Jeremy being my beta and her brother, I would put her in her place. Don't get me wrong, me and Jessica have had a few flings here and there, but that was all it was, nothing more. I wasn't interested in her in the slightest. I made the mistake of sleeping with her and now she won't leave me alone, entertaining the idea that we are destined mates and she will be my Luna and how perfect it would be. I honestly cannot see it happening. Don't get me wrong, she is pretty. Her long, black hair straightened to perfection and her hard green eyes, she always had a slim body but never trained once in her whole life, saying it's too practical for her and she didn't want to break a nail. She was just too high maintenance for me. I noticed the little rouge girl quickly placing the drink down, trying to avoid any attention and scuttering away. I looked at her carefully as she crept back into the kitchen, not seeing me discreetly staring at her. Poor girl thinks that she got away with not being seen. I will show her later.

I made my way across the long hall, dusting all the shelves and picking up litter that pack members have kindly left to me. Not. I stopped as I looked up the stairs leading to the Alpha floor. This is where Damon, his family and beta lived. This was the worst part of my day. I climbed the stairs hesitantly, straining my ears for any sort of movement so I could avoid them at all costs. My hearing was as ordinary as a human as I still didn't have my wolf yet so I had to pay more attention to my surroundings. When I didn't hear anything, I carried on making my way until I reached the top. The halls were empty to my relief. First thing was first, Alpha Damon's bathroom. I already knew what it was going to be like in there. It was the same everyday. It was as if he tried to make as much mess as possible, making my day harder. I opened the door and rolled my eyes as I was indeed correct. Clothes sprawled along the floor, toothpaste smeared the sink and mirror and the toilet seat was still up. I grunted as I started to pick up his clothes, taking my time as I knew he wouldn't be here. He is usually off training at this time of day. I carried on cleaning his mess, pulling faces as I went along. Goddess help whoever his mate will be. I don't know how they would cope living in such a state as this. I was almost finished, cleaning the bathroom mirror when the door flew open, smacking against the wall. I yelped as I turned face-to-face with a very angry looking Damon. He didn't notice me at first, but when he did his eyes shone with something resembling between hate and anger. He didn't say anything, but instead stepped forward, dangerously close to me. I gulped as I could feel the heat radiate off of him. He was really angry right now and it made me shake vigerously. His jet black hair was disheveled on the top of his head, looking messy but very attractive at the same time. It was no lie that he was attractive. All the she-wolves dreamed of having a shot with him, swooning over him. He was an Alpha afterall. His face was hard, his jaw clenched showing off his perfectly defined jawline. He towered over my small 5ft 3 frame with his own 6ft 2. I could see the muscles tensing under his messy, half tucked-in shirt as he continued to stare at me. I stood frozen, not knowing what to do. He is never usually here at this time. I started to grab the cleaning supplies, hoping he would just let me pass so I could continue with my chores for the day. I could feel my heartbeat pounding against my chest as he inched closer, so close i could feel his hot breath fanning my face as he looked down at me. An evil smirk crept across his face, making me want to shrink and melt away into nothing. Before I knew it, I was shoved to the ground roughly, the cleaning supplies scattering the floor.

'Where do you think you're going, rouge girl.'
