"Felix! Wake up!"

"No..." replied the younger in a sleepy and slurred tone. He had just woken up from his boyfriend's constant nudging on his arm.

It's was supposed to be a peaceful Saturday morning for everyone and yet here they were. Chan trying to wake Felix at 9:00 in the morning. 9:03 a.m. to be exact.

"5 more minutes..." Felix said in his deep and slurred morning voice.

Chris facepalmed himself at his boyfriend's forgetfulness.

"Lix...You really don't remember, do you?" asked the older with a voice that indicated that he was done with his partner's behavior.

"Remember wha-" the younger cut himself off as his eyes widened and he remembered what he had forgotten. And they were late for their 'appointment'. All thanks to Felix's sleepiness.

"Ah, shit!" Yongbok exclaimed as he jumped out of bed to get ready and rushed to their shared bathroom. Chan let out a tired sigh as his boyfriend slammed the door from behind him.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" yelled the younger from the shower in a panicked and slightly irritated voice.

"That's what I've been trying to do. For the past 25 minutes!" answered the older as if was obvious.

"Wait...25 minutes?" asked Felix in disbelief.

"Yeah. Every time I tried waking you up, you'd simply ignore me or ask me for 5 more minutes."

Felix groaned in distress. He felt really bad for doing this. Especially on the day, they were supposed to meet the Hyuno couple and Changbin for their first day of bonding with the bunny hybrid.

It's the promise they had to do if they really wanted to adopt a hybrid

"There are a few things you need to know about hybrid adopting."

"And what are those 'things'?" asked Chan as he raised his eyebrow.

"Before adopting a hybrid, you need to create a bond with them" answered Minho.

"A bond?" repeated Felix, with confusion laced in his voice.

"Yes. Hybrids need to trust the person or people wanting to adopt them before they accept them as their owner" explained Hyunjin.

Chan and Felix made eye contact with each other before they looked back at the other couple.

"Alright. And how do we create a bond with Changbin?" asked Chan with a determined tone.

"Well. We're glad you asked" replied Hyunjin with a smile plastered on his face

"It's really simple really... " said Minho before looking the Aussies straight in the eye with a glint of a challenging gaze.

"It's just like making a friend, but the only difference is... that you only have 31 days to do that"

Chris and Yongbok made eye contact once again before giving reassuring nods and smiling in each other's way. They looked back at the owners of the hybrid center and the youngest gave their reply.
