Chapter 3

~Zooey's P.O.V.~

His eyes felt like prickles on my face. I felt an arm go around my shoulders and turn me around.

"Hey Zo everything is fine." Luke said.

I wrenched my head around his shoulders and saw him with another girl, blond and perky. I heard her laughter which made me hate her more. He lend forward and kissed her, right there in front of me. Not just any kiss, a deep intense kiss. Gosh, how could he do this to me.

Luke turned his attention to where I was starring. "O, Zo don't do this to yourself."

I ran to the bathroom, keeping my head down and letting the tears seep from my eyes. I heard Lucas chase after me. He grabbed my wrist and turned me around and hugged me, hugged me so tight in his arms. I cried more and more and he tilted my head up by my chin and he was so close to my face that I felt his breathe on my mouth and cheeks. There was so much intensity, I just wanted him to...

He pulled apart and scanned the bathroom realizing he was in the girls bathroom. He turned around and left. I was finally able to catch my breathe.

Ding, ding the bell rang and I walked slowly to my first class.
