Jenna's POV:

"Kate do I really have to go throught with this blind date?" I questioned as I stepped out of my car and into the resturant where I was going on a blind date.

"Yes! Trust me, Harry's a nice guy, you'll love him!" she replied. Kate loved to play matchmaker, even though she wasn't that good at it.

"If he's such a great guy why don't you go out with him?" I sarcastically asked as I walked into the resturant.

"I told you! I've known him forever, so it would be like super awkward... and you have curly hair like him. You guys are perfect!" Kate squealed.

"Whatever you say. I have to go I'm at the resturant. I'll fill you in after the dates over." I told her as I walked over to the greeter, and told him my name.

"Have fun! But not too much fun! Ok.. so... umm bye." I pressed the end call button as the greeter toke me to the table.

The young lad at the table looked up at me with bright green eyes. "Hi I'm Harry. And you must be Jenny, right?" He raised as he said this and extended his large hand.

I shook his hand, "Actually it's Jenna. But it's nice to meet you Harry." I gave him an awkward smile. He looked really nervous, I felt bad because I knew this wasn't going to go in any direction. We sat down and looked over the menu. Harry looked up and asked: "So how do you and Kate know eachother?"

"Oh! Umm we kinda like go to school together, and she's like my bestfriend. How did you meet, she never told me?"

"Our mums are good friends from college so.. umm.. basically... yeah... Do you have and like talents or hobbies, Jenna?" Harry bit his lower lip, when he said my name.

"I can play piano, if that's what you mean. What about you?" I raised my hand and nervously twisted my earing back.

Harry avoided eye contact as he answered, "I'm lead singer in a band, so I can like sing."

I winced, I had a sensitive spot for musicians. I stared at the table cloth as I said, "What's the name of your band?"

"White Eskimo, it wasn't my idea for the name." He chuckled as he spoke. Thankfully, the waitress came over and took our drink orders. Harry asked for a diet pepsi, while I stuck to water. There was an extremely awkward silence as we looked over the menu in silence, because in truth I had not  paid attention the first time I looked at it.

"What looks good, J?" I winced as Harry called me this, remembering my last relationship. "Jenna?"

I snapped back to reality, when he said my name, "oh, I was looking at the cheese burger, but I might just play it safe with a kale salad."

"Live a little, go for the meat. Plus kale is gross, here." I snickered at Harry's remark, the first time that night.

"Why not?" I said shyly as I looked into his eyes. This was thefirst good look at him I got. His eyes were a deep green color, and sparkled more than any eyes I had ever seen. His cheeky simple reaveled  two big dimples. He had long eye lashes, and he was biting his lower lip again. Is that a nervous habit, like when i play with my earring? Is he nervous? Am I coming off to strong?

The waitress returned with our drinks, and took our orders. "So you sing? Are you any good?" I questioned him. I shouldn't have said that! I sound so mean! Of course he's good! you aren't in a band if you suck!

My question caught him off guard, "Umm I guess I'm pretty good. Actually, I was considering trying out for the X factor. What do you think?"

"That's really cool." I replied cooly, "My father always told me to follow my dreams, so why shouldn't you?"

"Thanks, what dreams did you want to follow?" He winked at me when he finished the sentance.

"Ummm i used to want to be a gymnast, but I badly fractured my knee 2 years ago, so I can't ever compete again." I stared at my napkin as I replied.

"I'm so sorry, Jenna." he looked at me with a gaze the resembled that of a puppy.

"Dont' worry about it." I said with a smile.

The rest of dinner consisted of light banter, an awful cheese burger, and many more cute chuckles from Harry. As the night came to an end, Harry walked me to my car. I hadn't realized how much taller he was than me, towering at least 8 inches over me. He smiled at me as we reached my car, "I had a great time with you this evening, Jenna." He bent down and lightly kissed my cheek, then  handed me a slip with his number, and winked, "Let's do this again sometime." He winked at me and headed in the opposite direction. I ducked into my car, quickly pulling out my phone and texting Kate. 'Oh my god' I texted as slowly pulled out of the lot and drove to my house.
