Jenna's POV:

I felt the blush creeping up my cheeks as I slowly read Harry's text. Wow, Kate was right for once and found a good guy. I smirked and typed: Next Saturday? Send.

I really hope that Harry and I become a couple. He seems really sweet, and kind. I'm just really intrigued by him and his whole personality. What did he mean when he said he sang? Was he any good, or was he one of those guys who said that just to seem impressive? I guess I'll have to see for myself.

Sh*t! I Forgot to do my science homework! Ugh! Science was my least favorite subject but I had to do it anyways. I pulled out my notebook, sat at the desk in my room, and got to work. Why do I even have to do this? This isn't gonna help me in life. Where the hell is the stupid pantella? Haha that sounds like nutella. Mhmm that sounds good. Well I have been working for 1 minute and 30 seconds I deserve a nutella break.

I put my pen cap on and headed down stairs for my nutella. My phone buzzed in my pocket after I hit the landing of the stairs. It said I had one new message from Harry. I unlocked my phone and pressed open text.

Perfect. I'll text u the dets later. ;)

I started blushing again like crazy. When I got another text.

Oh and J wear comfortable clothing, it's gonna be fun.

What was that supposed to man I thought as I turned off my phone? Comfortable clothes? Where was he taking me? And why was he calling me J? Nobody had called me J since... since when?

I'm overreacting way too much! He probably didn't even mean anything by it! Whatever, I guess i'll find out next week.

I skipped into the kitchen, when I bumped into my mom and brither having what looked like a serious conversation. My brother's head was in his hands, and my mother had a worried look on his face. My mother glanced over to me and tried to hid her previous expression. "Oh! Hi Jenna! how was your date?"

"What's going on in here!? What's wrong!? Is everyone okay!?" I despratley screeched, searching frantically over their faces for hints of what happened.

"Jenna! Chill! everything's fine!" My brother, Justin, shouted to me, but I could tell he was lying. "Don't worry about it!" he said again, as he climbed the stairs up to his room.

"What's with him?" I asked my mom, while pointing in the direction he went.

"Oh, nothing. How was your date? What was his name again?" My mother inquired.

"It went great! We're going out again on Saturday again. And his name's Harry, Mum."

"Oh, Saturday's not going to work, sweetheart. Here let's sit in the living room and talk." My mother guided me into the living room and sat down next to me on the couch.

"Why can't we go out on Saturday? What's wrong?" I asked worried.

"Jenna," My mother sighed, "It's your father. He want's to see you and your brother. He said he had some news to tell you."

"What?! Why does he want to see us?! He made it pretty clear that he never wanted to see any of us again when he left?!"

My father had left 4 years ago, after he told us that he was cheating on us for 6 years. It had turned into a huge screaming fight and ended with him leaving and shouting about how worthless we were, and that he never, ever, wanted to see us again.

"Jenna, I know he said some hurtful things that night, but he really misses you and Justin. I think you should think anout it." My mother said, trying to keep an even tone but I could tell she was angry with him too.

"If he wants to see us so bad, then he can wait until Sunday. I'm not going to blow off Harry."

"Fine, but you will have to tell him yourself. I'm not going to talk to him for you, your a big girl and are more than capable of talking to him in a mature fashion. He still has the same email address and phone number if you need to contact him."

"Okay, I'll email him in the morning. Goodnight Mum, I love you." I kissed her forehead as I headed back up to my, all of my previous hunger gone.

I turned as I heard a knock on my door. There was Justin standing in my doorway.

"Can you believe him?" Justin asked as he went to sit on my bed, "I mean he never talked to us for 4 years, and he thinks he can just magically walk back into our lives and everything will be okay?! He's pathetic."

"I know" I replied as I went to sit next to him on my bed, "Are you going to go?"

"Maybe, I want to hear him apologize since he never did when he left. But I'm busy Saturday so I have to email him and move it to Sunday. What about you?"

"Yeah I'm busy on Saturday too. But I don't think I'm gonna be able to look him in the eyes."

"Wait what do you have on Saturday?"

"Oh, I'm going on another date with Harry!" I smiled for the first time since I had talked to my mother.

"Mhmm, Just be careful with him, Jen. Im gonna hit the sack, g'night"

"G'night, Justin" I quickly went back to my desk and tried to finish my homework, but my mind kept wandering from my dad, to Harry, to what my brother had said about Harry. What did he mean about being  careful? What did he think was going to happen?
