Chapter 6

Glacey's pov.

I turned and met the face of Roman and his lips were only centimeters from mine. I looked into his eyes. I was mesmerized by them and was locked in place. I felt his hand travel up to my cheek and his thumb stroked my cheek softly. Then I heard a high pitched scream and we shot away from eachother! I shot out of the water and pulled on my clothes faster than I thought possible my hair was dripping wet and in my face as I ran to the camp and I stood shocked as to who was in the camp!

Roman's pov.

I stood as I watched her run and then I shook my head and then thought to myself, was I crazy? When we first met we couldn't stand each other but now I was just about to kiss her! Damn why are women so confusing? I just shook my head and waded out of the water and pulled my clothes on and jogged to the camp to see a man with dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes. He was pretty built up, well not as much as me but he was fit. He sent Glacey a smile and I just sent him a glare. I already knew, that we were not going to get along.

Glacey's pov.

"Josh what are you doing here?", I asked. Josh was my ex. I thought he was the one then he turned and high tailed it to the north and I was shocked to see he was still here. "Hey kitkat. How have you been?", he asked. "Good but you didn't answer my question.", I said. He smiled at me. " I just came up on you all and I just wanted to see how you were doing and what you were doing so far up north.", he said. "We are looking for my dad but he kinda found us so we are heading to wolf cove. ", I said. He nodded and offered help. "No thanks we can handle this.", Roman snapped. "Roman!", I snapped. He glared at Josh and I just shook my shad as Josh glared right back at him. Stood between them and I accepted Josh's help knowing I could trust him. Roman's eyes widened and he looked at me in disbelief. "He's my ex. Nothing to worry about.", I assured them. I turned and sat around the fire with the others and josh sat beside mans and we talked of our travels and such till the sun began to rise and we all stretched out and slept.

I woke and the guys were up and I sat up and they had caught food and I dug into my portion and the girls soon woke and I smirked as I noticed something between Abby and Dean and a little something between Seth and JJ. I decided to scout ahead knowing we would hit the snow at any day. Josh volunteered to go with me. "Oh no your not she needs protection and you are not protection!", Roman snapped. "Roman I can held my self.", I said and then Josh jumped in. "Yea you should know that by know! So just keep your ass here and let us handle it!", Josh snapped. Roman was about to snap back when I just grabbed Josh and we started at a jog and moved ahead a few miles and then slowed and we kept a steady pace until we hit he snow.

Me and Josh sat around the small fire and he looked at me every so often and it started to bug me. "What?", I asked. "Nothing. Just admiring how beautiful you still are.", he said. "Still haven't lost you touch to flatter me have you?", I smirked. He chuckled and shook his head. He moved closer to me and he looked into my eyes. He moved in and kissed me softly. There was not single spark like there used to be. He looked at me in disbelief like he knew it also. "Not quite the same was it?", he asked. I shook my head. He sighed. "Glacey I really wanted this to work out for us. I miss you.", he said. "I did miss you but I got over it. I used to always want you to come back.", I said. "Glacey please. Can we try again?", he asked. He grabbed my face and kissed me. Then we heard someone clear their throat and we both turned. I saw roman standing with the others standing behind him. He gave me a cold stare and I just looked to the ground as they all made themselves comfortable.

JJ's pov.

I noticed Roman was quieter than usual as in he was dead silent. I stood and I asked Roman to help me get some more fire wood and some more food to eat. He nodded and stood. When we were a good distance I turned to him and he just looked at the ground. "What's wrong with you?", I asked. "Nothing.", he snapped. "Something is. So don't think you can get out of this.", I snapped. "Fine! It's this Josh guy! He waltzes in here and Glacey welcomes with open arms and when we catch up with them when they are supposed to be scouting, they are kissing!", he exploded! "Roman, she knows him, that's why she welcomed him so easily. And maybe they want to start fresh. Who knows? But let me tell you Glacey is not really the forgiving type. And she isn't afraid to tell you to back and it will not be sweet so give her some space and let make her own decisions.", I said. Then it clicked. "Roman are you falling for her?", I asked. I almost could not believe the words left my mouth. He looked at me and his eyes were cold and raw with truth. "Yes and I not falling. I have already fallen.", he said softly. "Oh Roman, I'm sorry you had to see that. Maybe she will notice and leave Josh.", I said trying to help. He nodded and we grabbed some wood and I caught a few birds and squirrels. When we got back every one dug in and then we all turned over and fell alseep.

Glacey pov.

I stirred and I sat up and rubbed my eyes. It was sun set. I usually didn't wake this early. I stood and I walked around aimlessly then I felt a firm hand on my throat and I pun to try and fight them off! Then a hand cupped my mouth and then a second pair of hands brought me to the ground!
