Ch. 11 waking up to the horrorble truth

Ashley's pov

My eyes snapped open and I screamed from the pain I tried to put my hands on my head but I couldn't I looked and saw I was strapped down just like in my nightmare. " W what's going on is this a another dream. " I hear a voice " oh no Ashley this is very real " I look and see ZIM " oh crap come on Ashley wake up like last time I'll wake up in my room. " Zim chuckles evilly " you think your gonna wake up at home I'm sorry to say your not" I'm shaking now " W what?!" I say in fear " The life you know was a simulation made by me you see in your world on September 7 2001 some human inventories created a machine where someone could travel to our cartoon worlds. A 9 year old girl wanted to be the one test it so she did but something happened and she didn't come back. " Zim turns and looks at me smiling evilly " That little girl was you Ashley when you came here i kidnaped you and made a simulation and made you believe that was your life and I made you forget that you had powers. But three months ago you teleported away your powers were gaining control again but I brought you back into the simulation by giving you more stuff to block your powers then three months later it happened again so I did the same thing You have been my prisoner for 14 years "Zim laughs evilly. I feel like time has stopped memory's come at my like flashes I remember my real mom was a inventor and was telling me about the machine I remember telling her about my trips to different cartoon shows and how I can see the characters. The last thing I remember is getting into the machine and looking at my mom and her team giving them a thumbs up then the doors shut. I snap back to the present " HOW COULD YOU YOU TOOK AWAY 14 YEARS OF MY LIFE" I scream Zim seems unfazed by my yelling " oh and the stuff I gave you blocked your powers so you can't return home " i see a robot with blue eyes come in " Yaay she's awake " he presses a button and I'm free" GIR NO" but it's too late I jump at Zim and roundhouse kick him in the head knocking him out and I run I find a elevator now I'm in house I run out the door and down the street. A few minutes later I'm at a familiar house DIB answers the door " Ashley!!" He hugs me I break down sobbing explaining everything " hey it's ok you can stay here I'll help you get home I promise ok ? " I nod and go inside. Later that night I'm looking out the window at the stars " I'll find a way home mom I promise " a shooting star goes by I smile before falling asleep hoping one day to return to my real home.
