Barry POV
"Barry when we caught your reverse that night using the Tachyons it wasn't him it was his mirage", Cisco stated switching on the trap that him and Caitlin had created.
My reverse showed up and I barred my fists ready to fight, Caitlin put her hand on my shoulder and I slightly relaxed.
"The Reverse Flash is Dr. Wells, he killed your mother 15 years ago" Joe said looking my way.
I glared at the mirage even though it wasn't Wells the one person I looked up to for years while studying Forensics while I was in Collage and when I got my job at the police department.
After all these years of looking up to him and trying to find my moms killer he was the person that killed her that night when my future self traveled back in time with him 15 years ago. The machine shut off and we all walked up onto it and I looked for anything that might have been left behind so I could prove that my dad was innocent and get him out of Iron Heights.
"So Dr. Wells is the Reverse Flash" i said still confused, "How?" I asked them.
"We have no clue exactly but 15 years ago he opened Star Labs a month after your mother had been killed" Cisco said coming over to me.
The Comms system crackled to life, "Your right Cisco I am the reverse Flash but I'm not Dr. Wells he kind of died 15 years ago with his wife Tess Morgan I am in his body but I am Eboard Thawne from the 25th century and I never meant to kill your mother Barry, I was trying to kill you and your future self and you, but your future self saved you that night before I could kill you and him but I haven't seen your future self for 15 years which means he probably has returned back to his time or died in this time" he said and I looked around the room trying to see if he was in the room.
"If you want to kill me, face me now and we'll end this here and now" I yelled walking off the trap away from Joe, Caitlin, and Cisco.
A red blur of lightning appeared in front of me and pulled off his mask and I looked into the face of Eboard Thawne. "Run"! I growled to Joe, Caitlin, and Cisco and they took off running and I slammed myself into Eboard getting him away from them so they could escape. He punched me and I was pushed to the ground and we delivered punches back and forth and we chased each other and we went through the window in the ceiling and we ended up in the parking lot and I went as faster as we both delivered punches and I threw him into a car, he got up and we started running in circles and it reminded me of the night my mom was killed and he slammed me into the stone wall.
"Barry"! Caitlin yelled and I looked to her to see her behind a wall with Joe and Cisco.
"Your friends and family will die when after I erase you from existence in the future starting with them" Eboard said looking over to Caitlin, Cisco and Joe.
I looked over to the frantically and he ran over and shoved his hand into Cisco his hand vibrating killing him. Caitlin burst into tears as I ran over and a knife was shoved into her stomach and she grasped the knife crying out in pain and I looked over to Joe who had terror in his eyes as i slammed into Eboard as he was about to kill Joe.
"Run" I told joe and Caitilin but he grabbed his gun and shot at Eboard
"Not a chance Barry I'm not leaving you" he said and I punched Eboard sending him to the ground. He got up and ran over to Joe and he pushed me away as I looked up he snapped Joes neck.
"No"! I yelled and Eboard ran off and I ran over to Caitlin who was in that ground holding gauze to her wound, I attempts to pick her up but she shook her head. "I'm not going to make it Barry, but you can save us, all of us"she croaked, she reached out to grab my hand and I let the tears fall down my face." Go back in time and you can stop this all from happening, save us all" she said and I could tell she was getting weaker and I squeezed her hand, "Get Ronnie and Stein there in Coast City,I know he will help he always wants to save people" she said smiling as her eyes fluttered closed and she took her last breath.
I looked down and hugged her and put her down and stood up taking deep breaths remembering 2 days ago and I took off running faster then I ever had and several colours flooded my vision and I found myself running into Joes house to see him sitting on the couch watching football.
When he turned around I remembered seeing him get his neck snapped and falling to the ground limply.
"What's today's date Joe?" I asked him hoping I didn't go back to far in time,"April 17th, why do you ask" he said looking at me weird.
I thought quickly for an exuse," just wanted to make sure because I was going to get Coffee with Linda today" and i looked at my watch and realised I was 5 minutes late, and I late I said running off grabbing flowers at the flower shop leaving a five dollar bill on the counter and arriving in the alleyway next to jitters. I opened the door to walk into Eddie and Iris and I remembered the threat that was made that Eboard was going to kill everyone I cared about.
"Sorry Barry" Eddie said looking at me different probably because I had revealed my secret to him a few days ago so we could protect Iris.
" It's ok Eddie I'm just here to see Linda we were going to get coffee together" I said starting to walk in knowing she had been called into work.
"She left a few minutes ago to go to work, since Mason ditched we've been all been given more to do so I've got to go" she said and they both walked of and as soon as they left I ran off to Coast City to get Ronnie and Stein so I could save my friends and my family and the women I love Iris West even though she loved a different man.
