he ran and ran deeper and deeper into the woods. i have to get away, he thought, although he wasn't sure what he was trying to get away from. maybe he running to something instead of away. but what was he running to? for the first time in his life he was confused. he was also terrified. he couldn't stop. he wasn't in control. and he had no idea where is body was taking him.
