Noah's POV

I get close to the door and I hear " mom ... I think I'm pansexual" ... in Liam's voice and then I after a couple of seconds I hear "I know honey"  I just back away and try to leave the vicinity but that's just when the sprinklers came on , due to which I started dancing around to avoid the sprinklers and try to get to my room. After a couple of minutes it stops.

I then just turn around and go back to my room to scroll through instagram and drown out my thoughts.

After a couple of minutes I hear a knock at my door , I open it to find Mama Riley looking a little angry .

"What happened Mama ?" I ask her as I sit on the bed and tap the space next to me.

"..... I know you were listening in on my conversation with Liam" she expresses angryly , "I also saw you dancing , I love you like you are my nephew but remember that my son's will always come first. I don't know what you are planning but if you out him or humiliate him , believe me when i say that no one will be worse than me" she stats before i could respond

"Mama , I don't think you understood the situation , I will be honest and say that I heard about him being pansexual but nothing else , I swear" I start off as I look down and say "then I tried to go back but the sprinklers just went off , and trying to avoid them I started jumping and dancing around and not because of anything else" I tell her

She calms down a little but she still doesn't fully believe me , "if you would like , you can watch the CCTV footage" , "it's okay I believe you honey" she tells me as she just nods and starts to get up.

"Now do you want some breakfast?" She asks me , "ya but could I tell you something before that?" I ask her and look down.

She just sits back down and stares at me waiting for me to start , "well basically....... I might have slept with Liam...." I tell her and wait for her to react.

"Okay and what do you think about it?" She asks calmly , "well you know that Liam and i have a let's just a rocky relationship..... And it's not the he is a bad person but I don't know....
I just don't want a repeat of what happened with William that's it.
I also feel like I don't feel anything more than physical attraction towards him and I doubt he feels anything but hatred towards me" I tell her as I keep fumbling through sentences not knowing what to think of the situation on hand.

She just takes my hands on her hands and says , "I will not let a repeat of William happen !" She states  firmly .

Just then she gets a call and she excuses herself away , telling me it's something important.

I just sit there swinging my legs for a minute when my phone starts ringing.

I see the caller ID and immediately get annoyed , but I still lift it up to hear why she suddenly remembers me

Mom - Hi kid ! How are you doing?

Me - However I am shouldn't matter.... Why did you suddenly call?

Mom - OMG! Learn some manners boy , if somebody asks you if you see good , you shouldn't back talk to them , you should answer with class and ask them how they are too

Me - well , you didn't raise me or care to teach me this stuff so... Who should this be on?

Mom - Shut the fuck up boy , is that a way to talk to you mother

Me - some mother you are , didn't even talk to me for 8 months

Mom - well I was busy.... Shouldn't you have atleast tried calling instead of acting like a sissy?

Me - I have given up trying to reach you ..... Now just tell me what you want.

Mom - You turned out to be such a rude boy didn't you ? Well I guess I will fire Mary , she did such a bas job you with you.

Me - The second you fire Mary , I swear to god i will burn the whole house down and take you down with it

Mom - ..... Anyway..... I guess I wanted to call you to tell you that , I want to have a family meeting and then we have to lunch with the McLaine's .

Me - You can just have me when you want ! You have to book an appointment with me like I used to when I was a kid and wanted to meet you

Mom - well you are under 18 and I am still your legal guardian and believe me when I tell you if you don't come , I will make sure that we move to *someplace on earth that I don't want to mention cuz I don't want to offend anyone*

Me - Wtf ! You can't do that !

Mom - ooh yes I can and I will.

I pause for a second as I think back to the time when she made me go to boarding school in London for an year when I didn't listen to her once as a kid.

Me - ok.... Whatever.

And I cut the call.

I just stare at my phone and then soon I see teardrops on my phone , I just wipe my face and my phone before i rub down stairs with a smile on my face
