A New Life

Life sucks. When I found out we were moving I thought it would be to a different state. NOT A WHOLE DIFFERENT COUNTRY. Yeah that's right I just moved to a different country. Which basically means I have to figure life out again. I thought life was hard as it is, imagine going to a place where they can fries, chips, weird am I right. I'm going to die here, and there's honestly nothing I can do about it. But that's not even the worst part. I have to make new friends, and I am NOT the social one. I don't know what I'm going to do.

"Honey come down here. Our stuff has arrived," my mom called for me. Ugh there really isn't a way out of this I thought as I walked downstairs to gather my stuff.

"Mom, why did we have to come here I honestly don't see what was so wrong with where we lived before," I stated.

"Honey. I told you not to ask questions like this. Please know that I will not except you to think that what your father has done is wrong. Now please go to your room with that stuff, and start putting it away. Hurry now before your father gets down here." I sighed I knew I shouldn't have said anything. My parents have always been like this super strict. I've gotten used to it though, and made an online persona to escape from them. I became a twitch streamer, and I'm pretty popular too. Though I could never tell my parents as the would probably kill me. But its okay as I'm quite fine that they don't know how much money I'm, making or the random people I talk to online.

As I got to my room with all my stuff, I started putting it away. This was going to take a while seeing as I had a lot of clothes. I looked through some of my boxes, until I found my pair of airpods, and slipped them into my ears. Scrolling through my phone for the perfect music to play while I put all this stuff away. I stumbled upon a band called Lovejoy. "hmmm, this seems like something I might like." I thought as the music started playing through my ears I got to work with setting my room up.

After what felt like forever I had finally finished, setting my room up. With my pc set up or what my parents like to call it my homework station in the corner of the room, my bed in the center with many pillows on it, and my walk in closet filled entirely with clothes everything looked perfect. Except for the fact that I was missing my led lights that hadn't made it to the house yet, along with many other cute decorations I somehow had convinced my parents to let me get.

Just then I heard a knock on my door. I could tell it was my dad, so I prepared myself before I calmly shouted "Come in." My door opened slowly and my dad stepped in my room, almost looking as if he was examining it or something.

"It looks like you've fully set your room up already, nice to know that you at least care about one thing. Your starting school on Monday better get yourself put together before then. Oh, and I almost forgot dinners ready," and just like that my dad way gone. My dad had always been this way all business no fun. When I was younger I hardly was even let outside to play, instead I was stuck inside doing piano lessons, and let me tell you those are no fun.

I walked downstairs and got ready for dinner setting the table as I always do, while my parents stood there watching. Sometimes I wonder if they could ever just help me for once, but they never will, and I know saying something to them would only make things like a nice dinner, turn bad. After I finished setting the table up my parents sat down and started eating. There was never any conversations at the dinner table, and if there was one it would be purely out of business. I was used to this though as I've always known my family would never change.

Once dinner was over I washed the dishes, put them away then headed off to my bedroom. Once I got there I threw on a sweatshirt, and some pajama pants getting ready for bed. Brushing my teeth, and washing my face before saying goodnight to my parents. I then crawled into bed as my waiting began.
