Tw: mention of blood and murder, playing with oujia boards.

Born in New York city, Felix Apherdam resided in a small family cabin in the woods. The 17 year old has lived there since he was a child. Although he now lived alone. Such as life. When he was 13, he and his German friend Clarice had messed around with the ouija board. Summoning a new, scary, adventure for Felix.

“Clare, you sure this is a good idea?” Felix asked, shuddering as Clarice pulled out a ouija board. The two where only 13. Clarice was a young, 13 year old, German girl. She was very easily manipulated, not one to be messing with the unknown world of spirits, and yet, the brunette insisted on playing the board with the red headed boy, looking into his orange, reddish eyes with her violet ones. The wind was blowing both of their hairs, Clarice’s blue hoodie and Felix’s red shirt blowing in the wind as well.

“I’m sure, Felix!” Clariced smiled, placing the planchet on the board that was currently on the ground. The two were deep into the woods of which Felix’s cabin resides, but not too far away. The sky was dark and it was nearing 3am. She gently placed two fingers on the planchet, motioning with her eyes that Felix should do the same. He sighed and did so, feeling weird as soon as he touched the board. The leaves of the trees quietly rattled in the wind, the forest dark and quiet, only the sound of birds and such happening every five or so minutes.

“Are there any spirits here tonight?” Clarice asked while running the planchet in a slow motion around the board, stop so whatever is there could answer. They almost immediately got an answer, the board spelt out ‘yes’, but one of them had moved the planchet. Both got chills, looking at each other with pure shock. Felix looked in her eyes with the look of fear. He was a shaking mess. He started to feel dizzy and light headed, he never mentioned it tough, not wanting to freak Clarice out.

“I-...Did you move that?” Felix asked, his voice shaky, his hands even worse. The planchet barely stayed still due to Felix’s shaking. Clarice took a deep breath and shook her head, her fingers slowly pushing down on the planchet to stop the movement. She started to ask again.

“What is your name?” She asked, Felix still shaking. The board spelt out B. R. E. X.

“...Brex?” Felix asked. The planchet moving to yes. Felix and Clarice looked at eachother. Clarice laughed a bit.

“What’s so funny, Clare?” Felix asked.

“At Least it’s not Zozo.” Clarice giggled a bit. Suddenly, there was a snap in the woods. It sounded like what a fallen tree branch getting stepped on would sound like. The two friends looked at each other, Clarice now getting scared. Felix started to speak, shaking as he did.

“W-we should go back...what time is it, Clare?” He asked, yawning after he did so. He was getting pretty tired, his hands were still on the planchet. Clarice, with one hand still on the planchet, took out her phone and checked the time.

“It’s 3:45 am already? Surely we’re the only two in    the forest tonight…” She started. “Only murderers are in the forest at 3am. We should quit.” She sighed, not wanting to quit. She felt...attracted to the board? Felix nodded, Clarice started again. “But we have to say ‘goodbye’ first.”

“Yeah...Yeah I know, let's hurry up and do that. I don’t want to be stuck out here any longer, especially if there's something or someone out here with us.” Felix said, eager to stop and get it over with. He felt like he was about to pass out. Feeling super light headed. He didn’t know why he felt so...sick?

“Felix? You doing good man?” Clarice asked, looking confused at Felix, noticing how he is acting strange. Felix nodded. Silence filled the air as both kids kept their hands on the board. The silence was long and loud. It freaked Clarice out. Only their breathing could be heard. Felix looked down at the board, mumbling in a different language Clarice didn’t understand.

“F...F-Felix?” She spoke up. Felix said nothing, instead his head snapped up at her. He smiled a bit. He spoke up in a condescending voice.

“Why don’t we continue, hm? The board likes us, and it’d hate for us to leave so soon!” Felix said.

“S-Stop it man! Cut it out” Clarice cused in German under her breath as she quickly ended the game, standing up, backing away from Felix, who only stood up and got closer to her.

“Why? This was your idea Clare! Why stop all of a sudden?” Felix laughed out. Clarice quickly slapped him, causing him to become ‘normal’ again.

“What just happened?” He asked, Clarice sighed in relief, glad her friend was ‘back to normal’. She hugged him tightly.

"I-...I have no idea, b-but we should get back to your cabin before anything else happens." She stammered out. Felix nodded and the two walked away, leaving the board on the ground. They walked through the forest. Trees blocking out everything. Casting shadows in the darkness. The two we're silent. Leaves crunching below them.

The two eventually get to the cabin. It was now around 5am and the two had school in a few hours, the walk from where they had been was an hour away. Felix sighed and opened the door, yawning and feeling light headed again.

"You should head home, Clare. You don't have your stuff...and you need a shower." Felix started.

"You're right. I'll see you at school...I guess?" She looked at him, now at her stuff she had brought over. The basic phone and she had brought one pair of clothes, which she was wearing, to sleep in. She shoved the clothes she came over with into a small bag, throwing the bag over her shoulder. She walked up to Felix and gave him a hug. He smiled and hugged her back. They exchanged good-byes and Clarice left. Felix sighed and went to take a shower, only to be stopped by his mother half way there.

"Felix! Where have you been? How long have you been up?? Where's Clarice?" His mother asked, quite worried about her son.

"Nothing mom…she's fine, I just woke up…" Felix said, he looked at his mom. He felt….different? He felt worse than lightheaded. He blacked out.

A few minutes later he found himself with blood on his hands, why, he had no clue what happened. It was only then when he looked at the blood he realized they were dead. He killed his parents. He sat up from his parents bed.

"I must've fallen asleep…"he mumbled. He got up and quickly took a shower. He felt like he had no remorse. He had no clue why. He got dressed as if he was going to school.

"W-Wait! You gotta get out of here kid!"

"Who's there?"

The disembodied voice sighed. He had a British accent.

"Felix. Who I am doesn't matter right now. What matters is that you LITERALLY JUST KILLED YOUR OWN PARENTS!" He screamed. Only Felix could hear him though.

"I know….and? How am I supposed to defend myself?" Felix asked, wondering if he was going insane.

"J-BU-...FELIX!" A goat guy suddenly appeared, he grabbed Felix's shoulders and started shaking him.

"YOU'RE GOING TO GO TO JAIL!! Y-You need to get out of here kid! There's no way you can prove you got possessed!" The demon said.

"Chill, what else do you want me to do?" Felix asked, looking at the demon dead in the eyes.

The demon sighed and grabbed Felix, running outside.

"Stay here, I'll clean everything up!" The goat then ran into the cabin while Felix sat near a tree, looking up at the stars. He hugged his knees and sighed. Did he really kill his parents? Was he really possessed?
