Chapter 1: Uncharted Forest

Cold, hungry, and alone; a boy is left unattended near a forest by the road. It wasn't long after someone had dropped them off here, only to never return, or ever see the boys face again. A great hatred must have filled their soul, to make them fulfill such a foul decision.

The boy, named Sam, had been waiting so many hours for a car to pass by, but to no avail. These roads were barren and overtaken by nature. There wasn't a single chance of another vehicle coming this way. So the boy decided to head into the forest.

It was a dense forest. The ground was covered in bushes, leaves, and the occasional party of flowers could be seen sprouting in large groups. Trees, both tall and mildly short, were flourishing and covering the sky, leaving Sam in a dark den only lit by the few struggling rays of sunlight. There were no direct pathways here, only the wind, and Sam's sense of direction.

Sam suddenly looked over at a loud rustling in the trees. He could have sworn he saw something pierce the treetops. Something in all white, and something flying. They ran over to look up above, and saw nothing. 'Maybe im just seeing things..' He thought, continuing in the direction he was heading. But there it was again. And it was right infront of him.

He looked up, and spotted a girl. They had smooth white hair, and wore fine white clothing. But something felt wrong. They appeared to have two antenna sprouting from their forehead, huge white and grey moth wings, and pure black eyes only showing a white, hollow circle for a pupil. This wasn't to mention their extra set of arms, and their delicate pure white skin.

Sam had jumped back at the sight of this creature. He had never seen such a thing before. Before he could say anything the girl flew away, breaching the canopies of the forest.

Night fell before long, and Sam had taken shelter under a fallen log, being supported by another tree. Sam couldn't get the girl out of his mind. But before long, he fell asleep.
