Chapter 6

Beep...beep...beep
What the hell? Rubbing my eyes, sat up and looked at my alarm clock hitting snooze.
6am just great another day of school! I sarcasticly said to myself.

Mackenzie...Mackenzie...macken... Huh what, what happend I looked over to see Luke smiling at me.
"You fell asleep"
Ugh I mentally slapped myself. I fell asleep during math class, my worst subject that I need to pay attention to the most! I could see Luke trying hard not to laugh his ass off at me. I gave him a evil stare. he looked at me as if I was a crazy physco killer, probably cause I gave him the look of one.
The bell rang, I was so relived that that was the last period of the day, I get to go home now, and to top it off it is a Friday which means no school tomorrow!
When I got home I saw the note from the other night sitting on my dresser. I have been debating on whether I should text the guy or not. he was cute,cheesy(in the cutest way) and hot af!
Ah what the hell what's the worst that could happen?! I said to myself as I punched in the number in my phone.
"Hi it's Mackenzie the girl from the party the other night. you gave me your number and told me to text u sometime so yea I thought I would just see if you were still interested in talking to me. it's ok if not Im fine I just thought I would say hi."
And send...
I have mixed emotions on what I want to happen. I want him to text back but then again I doubt he will text back so I don't want to get my hopes up. Oh well I guess I'll find out whether texting him was a waste of time or a good idea.
I then texted Luke...
Me:Hey you want to come over and chill?
Luke:yea be over in 10! Oh and I've got to tell you something!
Me:what!?
Luke:you'll have to wait till I get to your place! See you in 10
Ugh the suspense was killing me! What could he possibly have to tell me that I don't already know? I know everything about that kid (and I mean everything)...
I decided to go change into something more comfortable. I then went back downstairs to the living room and made sure we had enough pillows and blankets so we would be comfy. I decided to put Netflix on for the time being. I've been recently obsessed with gossip girl! Chuck Bass and Nate are absolutely gorgeous!! I know I will have to turn it off when Luke gets here because he thinks the show is "cheesy and unrealistic"
About 10 minutes into the show I hear the door open then shut. Keeping my eyes glued on the tv screen, I already knew who it is. I could hear him coming up behind me. Suddenly I felt his big muscular arms wrap around me as he squeezed the hell out of me.. tapping on his arm in surrender, he finally loosened his grip around me and stood up to come around to the front of the couch.

Heyyyy he said raising his eyebrows up and down.

Hey you!  Come sit down my darling I said imitating a British accent
He jumped onto the couch next to me.

Sooooo? What's the big thing you have to tell me? As soon as I said that his face lit up like a little child on Christmas morning.

Ok so you know Selena woods that girl from Pottstown area high? Pottstown are high is our schools neighboring school and also our dreaded rivals from the other side of the bridge. The Susquehanna river separates the two schools. Every year our football team and theirs fiercely badly on the field so theirs or our side of the river can be named Better than the Other Side.

Yea why? I asked now confused.

Well I've been talking to her lately and I really like her so I think I'm going to ask her out!

What do I say? I was at a loss for words... I've seen Luke date girls before but he's been single for a while now. I knew this would happen yet, I felt as though he shouldn't date anyone. He should be dating me! But we can't date and I have to remind myself that every time I look into his beautiful big brown eyes. Jealousy took over me as I sat their in aw not being able to say a word to him.
