The Gallaghers have just been through hell after witnessing the brutal murder of Laurel. Now, they linger in the aftermath, living nose to nose in a tiny hotel room searching for somewhere new to live. Although, the motivation to begin their lives again was hindering them. WILLOW GALLAGHER the most as she was caught believing that all of this was her fault, despite Laurel telling her it wasn't.
The family's summer depression was beginning to faint into fall despair, and matched with school coming back into session. They had to return to the real world and cope with the fact that they were expected to move on without Laurel despite the festering guilt for living without her.
As Willow begins to try and live again, stranger things begin to happen in Beacon Hills. Animals are becoming more reckless and frantic, strange sacrifices are being made and a new pack enters to challenge Derek and Scott to either join their cause or die at their claws.
Despite all of these unwelcome changes, one thing stays the same. STILES STILINSKI. However, even with him, the change is ever-present. Stiles and Willow are no longer at odd's with one another, a revival of their wilted relationship blooming from the pain. However, when Willow ends up losing her powers and starts seeing ghosts, the two pause any possibility of a romance resurgence.
