It all started on that one fateful day I was walking home from my girlfriend's basketball game she wanted to drive me home but her friends wanted to go to the bar she insisted that she took me home but I told her to go have fun with her friends but to this day I wish I didn't. I turned on my block to an ambulance outside of my house. I ran up to her to see what happened only to see my girlfriend on a stretcher. I ran to her side crying. A police officer pulled me away "BABY" I screamed at the top of my lungs while trying to get out of the officer's grasp "LET ME GO THAT'S MY GIRLFRIEND" I yelled I was scared I didn't know what happened. That's when the officer let me go "Look, young lady, that's your girlfriend right?". "Yes she is, what happened to her?" I asked "All she told us before she passed out, was that it was a man in a hood", "A man in a hood," I said, questioning myself ¨ Do you have any more questions for me, ma'am?¨ The officer asked ¨...¨ I just sat in silence blaming and asking myself what would have happened if she took me home would we be here in the situation or would she be fine? Would I be fine? These questions keep going through my head I told the officer I felt a little light-headed and the world started to spin then I saw black I woke up in a hospital bed I look next to me to see my girlfriend in a bed she was sleeping just then the doctor walked in "oh I see you awake" The doctor said and I decided to sit up and look at him "What happened?" I asked "well you pass out after figuring out what happened to your girlfriend" "Oh right....Is she going to be ok?" I asked the doctor "Thankfully she'll be fine" the doctor said. "God works miracles I must tell you by right she should be dead she took a bat to the head. According to her friends she didn't drink not one drop of alcoholic," the doctor told me. All of a sudden my ears started to ring "Hey doc, is it normal for my ears to start ringing?" I asked then the doctor call in two other doctors and a nurse this never happened to me before, and trust me when I say that, I have been in a hospital a lot of times there was this on time where I was a surrogate for a lovely couple, and that is one of the many reasons I'm going to adopted a child and that hurt but the ringing in my ear was 10x worse that and I didn't know why I screamed at the top of my lungs it hurt so bad the nurse tries to calm me down but it didn't work I just keep screaming I hated it. It was like I was an angel being dragged to hell "AHH MAKE IT STOP PLEASE" I screamed and then the nurse told me to breathe and look at my girlfriend so I did and I slowly started to calm down "Are your ears still ringing?" The doctor asked " Yes but they hurt way less" I told the doctor "Ok that's a good thing" the doctor said to me. After a couple of hours, my girlfriend woke up and the doctor let us both leave. "Hey baby are you okay?" I asked my girlfriend " Yea I'm fine.'' She told me, yeah she may have said yes but I didn't believe her. She looked scared which was new but I couldn't blame her we both woke up in a hospital ...
