Spooky Island

My first day in Spooky Island went well, well, as good as it could have considering the circumstances. I was so scared about what was going to happen to me now that I belonged to Kenneth. I was going to live in a strange place with a bunch of new people, people I didn't know. Tourists are known for being awful and I was going to be surrounded by them. So many things could go wrong, and I couldn't think of one thing I was going right. Luckily, I didn't face the displeasure of having to deal with any of the tourists—as soon as I got off the plane I was taken up to my hotel room. Kenneth told me to stay there for the rest of the night so that he could 'get things prepared for me'. I didn't know what he meant by that, but I found myself getting excited about it. Was he throwing me a surprise party? Was he going to give me a present? Was there going to be some kind of welcoming committee made in my honor? There were so many questions left unanswered.
Whatever. I wasn't going to let Kenneth keep me up, I had more important things to do. I showered, did my 50 step skincare routine, changed into my pajamas, and went to bed.

The next morning

"Room service!" A voice called out, pulling me from sleep. I groaned, rolling over onto my stomach and burying my face in the pillow. The voice was accompanied by a loud knocking, whoever was trying to provide me with room service was being very aggressive about it. I basically had no choice but to answer the door.
"I'm coming!" I screamed, purposely making my voice shrill so that the thot knocking on my door got the hint that I was pissed off. I didn't even bother fixing my hair or changing into something more appropriate, I knew how perfect I looked even with my pajamas and messy hair.
"Roo-"
I cut them off this time by throwing the door open, fully prepared to lay into the knocker. However, as soon as I saw who it was I froze—there went my ability to speak.
It was a Spooky Island monster! Only, it wasn't Kenneth. It looked very similar to him, they both had the same gross purple skin and horrifying features. They both smelled disgusting, too, but maybe that was just the food. Regardless, I couldn't help but feel myself blushing. There was something about those purple demons that made my metaphorical tail wag.
"Um, h-h-hi." I smiled, looking down at my feet. I looked up at him a few moments later, my eyes landing on his chest. His nametag read Brenden.
"Kenneth asked me to bring you some breakfast." The monster began, wheeling the cart of food into the room. I thanked him, and he left without another word. It appeared they didn't really like to talk—maybe it was a species thing?
Once I knew for sure that Brenden was gone I started to dig into the food he brought. I will admit, the food was busting respectfully; there was a small variety of fruits, some sweet breakfast items like tarts and pastries, and things like bacon and scrambled eggs. As grateful as I was to be fed, he didn't ask what I liked or wanted and that was kind of rude. After breakfast I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, and then after that I got dressed. Today I chose to wear something a little more classy—a pair of ripped jeans with a tanktop with the words live, laugh, love on the front of it. For shoes I just chose yellow flip-flops, I have the cutest little toes and I like to show them off.
Just as I finished getting ready I heard another knock at the door, only this time it was normal knocking and not police knocking. Kenneth? God, I hoped so. I don't know why, but I wanted to see him again. It was like I was connected to him in a way I never felt before. I wonder if he felt it too. I hurried to the door, opened it, and there he was.
"K-Kenneth!" I smiled, staring up into his green eyes. He stared back down at me. Our height difference was very cute because I am only 4'8 and he is so much taller. "Thank you for the breakfast, it was bussin."
"You're welcome, babybreath. Anything for you." He reached out and grazed my cheek with his long nail. I nearly melted. "Are you ready to leave the room? I'm taking you on a tour of the Island today."
"Y-Yes. Let's go."
I left the room with Kenneth, taking the elevator to the first floor. First, he showed me the inside of the hotel. I saw the tiki bar, the piano, the indoor waterfall, and the lounge area where all the people sat and chatted. Kenneth let me hold his hand as we walked around, even though my hand was dripping with sweat I still wanted to hold his. I don't think he cared anyway. He's my clammy King. Before we went outside we stopped at the doors, he opened it for me so I could go out first.
"You have to stay close to me when we're out here, at least until you know your way around. This place can become a maze to new people." He paused. "You'll get the layout sooner or later, then you have full permission to do whatever you want."
"Can I ride the rides?" I ask, my eyes lighting up. I loved rollercoasters, and I could abuse my power as the CEO's property to skip all the lines. Gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss!
"Of course, boo." He nodded, his long antenna ears flapping as he did so. "There are many different attractions to choose from."
"So I can go anywhere?"
"Yes," A pause, his voice lowered. "But there is one place you can never ever go."
"What place?"
"The castle. It's the one building that is strictly off limits to you."
Wow, his sudden assertiveness was so hot. My stomach filled with butterflies. "Y-Yes, sir." I nodded.
Kenneth reached down and grabbed my hand, which was easy because his arms were so long. My hand was tiny in comparison, and my skin looked as white as paper against his.
Kenneth and I spent the whole day exploring the park together, which was a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. By the time we got back to the hotel the sun was setting. He wanted me to have dinner with him, but I politely declined and lied about having a headache—my mom said saying that could get you out of anything. He bought it and that was the important thing. The truth? I didn't have a headache, I just wanted him to think I was going to be asleep. Tonight I had big plans... I was going to sneak off to the castle.
