It was a clear night, the stars shinning in the sky of Mondstadt. The only day you didn't need to run all around Teyvat, you ended up helping Diluc prepare the tavern for tonight's party. Making flower bouquets, setting the tables, placing the candles, making lanterns to illuminate the area, bringing in the food and drinks,... 1 hour before the feast, almost everything was ready.

"You should go dress up now traveler. Thank you for your help, I can finish alone."
"I can still help you, i have enough time to prepare later."
"No. You go now."
"But I just need to fini-"

You can't even finish your sentence before Diluc kicks you out of the tavern, closing the door behind you. Guess I'll go get ready... You were walking to go in your room int the Knight building when you meet Amber and Kaeya talking together. They look at you, then share a look and grab both your arms and legs to run to your room. You don't even have time to process what is happening before you're thrown in your bath, still fully dressed.

"You have 10 minutes to wash Y/N ! Or maybe you prefer me to do it for you ?"
"Get lost Kaeya !"
"Easy S/N, we wouldn't want to destroy your room one more time right?"
"Ugh, i hate you sometimes."

You wash up quickly, not wanting that stupid blue haired to get in your bathroom. Because yes, he would do it. Once you're done and completely dried, you pass your head by the door.

"So, what do I do now ?"
"We brought you an outfit for tonight. Get dressed quickly so we can help you finish your look!"

Amber gives you a bag of clothes and you close the door.

"Are you... Are you sure this isn't a bit.... Too much ?"
"Of course not, you look fabulous Traveler ! Everyone will only have eyes for you, you're stunning."

Amber is amazed by how good you look in the outfit she and Kaeya choose for you. They were right : you never looked more mature and goodly than now.

"I mean it's only a small feast, I feel like this outfit is too fancy for the occasion."
"My my, it's never too fancy, dear Y/N. You must be at your top for ever occasion possible !"
"Ah. I forgot how much of a fashionista you were, Kaeya."
"Aw, thanks for the compliment!"

You're glad you met those two. They've always been here for you and were the only ones who actually tried to help you find your sister. You could always go talk to them when you were feeling down, the tree of you often going on adventures together just for fun and not for work, them exploring with you this whole new world for you. You like talking with them, even if Kaeya sometimes pisses you off, and you would do it anytime you're free and not too tired.

Before you knew it, the three of you arrived at the tavern. Seeing it in the daylight or nightlight was two different things : the lanterns you made were giving it a warm tone, the smell of fresh flowers and food in the air. You take your time to admire your work, pretty proud of you.

"You did so well with the decorations Y/N!"
"Thanks Amber, I'm happy it turned out good."
"We could only expect that from you."

Kaeya lay his hand on your back, guiding you inside of the tavern. Diluc is wearing a white suit and a high ponytail, waiting for you to arrive. Once everyone is sit at a table, Diluc announce the beginning of the party and leave Venti to the animation.
