Noticing Him

Marley was very happy that she got into McKinley High School. Her school experience uptil now wasn't the best. She was mobbed, insulted and made fun of on her previous schools. Kids put her down and shamed her because of her mom. She was really hoping that that wouldn't happen here. To make sure it didn't, her mom persuaded her to not interact together in school so the kids wouldn't know. Her mom worked in the school kitchen. Marley didn't fully like this, 'cause she had to pretend her mom was not her mom, but she understood the reason. It was awful and stupid how people could make fun of people they didn't know at all, had no idea how their lives were like. Growing up with the woman Marley knew how difficult it was for her mother at times, and had great respect and empathy for her.

She turned 'round and saw a boy standing close nearby. As she was walking off in the direction of her next class she passed by him. She looked up and made eye contact. His gaze likewise locked on her and he gave her a smile. It caused a tingling sensation in her stomach. She liked it. As she was behind him he turned to look at the notice board and she used the opportunity to check him properly out.

Her first few days were fine. There was of course the usual getting lost at a new school but she always found the classroom or found someone who was willing to help her.

She spotted him already during her first days at Glee. She was somewhat confused at first 'cause she couldn't remember liking boys like that. Well actually, yes, in books and movies she did. But in real life? She always thought she was only cut out to perhaps get a nice guy boyfriend, but Jake...was hot!

Listening to the Speeches of the School President Candidates she saw him sitting in between two girls, neither of them was his "supposed girlfriend".

The other day Kitty searched her out and invited her to this stupid club. She just didn't get it. How could Jake be with her? I mean, it was one thing that he wasn't with her Marley, which honestly she didn't expect. But why Kitty? She was such a mean bitch.
