Today is James's and Kirstie's wedding and I'm so anxious. As one of his best men, I make sure that everything goes smoothly and that James is not stressed. Unfortunately, a lot of things decided to go wrong today.

'What's wrong?' I asked as my anxiety was already getting worse

'There's been an accident on the way to the church. Some guests are stuck and we have no idea how long it'll take before they get here... James's parents and sister are stuck as well' said Tris uneasily

'How far out are they?' I asked quickly

'Around 10/15 minutes' said Tris with a sigh

'Well, we just have to keep James occupied. I'll go tell Jasmine and she'll decide if they'll tell Kirstie. I'd rather neither know about it, but we'll see' I said as I already started running to where Kirstie and the bridesmaids were

'Jasmine, can I steal you for a bit?' I asked with my cheeky smile as I popped into the room

'And you look stunning Kirstie' I said with a wink which made her smile

'What's up?' Asked Jasmine as she closed the door

'There's been an accident on the way to church. A lot of guests are stuck in it and so are James's parents and sister' I said uneasily

'Shit. Kirstie's been very anxious that Sophie wasn't here yet' said Jasmine nervously

'I don't think we should tell them, but we need to postpone the ceremony a bit. They're about 10/15 minutes out, but I don't know when they'll clear the road' I said as I checked my watch

'Okay. Thanks. I'll take care of Kirstie' she said as she gave me a small smile and went back to the room

I let out a heavy sigh as I walked up to the wall and put my head against it.

'It's going to be okay' said Tris softly as he came up to me

He was dangerously close, his breath was on my neck and it sent shivers down my spine.

I slowly turned around to face him. I was up against the wall and he was so close to me that I forgot how to breathe.

'I just don't want them to worry on their big day' I said unsurely

'We've got it. But there's not much we can do other than reassure them that everything is alright. At least regarding this... the whole cake circus was another thing' he said as he inched closer

'I guess so' I whispered as I managed to look into his eyes and I was captivated

'Where's your plus one?' I asked after a moment, knowing that if I didn't bring it up, I'd kiss him right there and then

'You know I'm in between girls. This is about James and Kirstie. I didn't want to bring someone just for the sake of it. I'm glad I'm here alone... well, with you' he said unsurely as he scratch his neck unsurely
