                               a fangirl's dream

She was alone on her room, dreaming that one day she’ll meet her biases face to face. She kept banging her head on the table; she knew it was never gonna happen. She wasn’t born to be rich or someone who could afford a concert ticket and worse she was someone who is living too far from the concert venue. She tried her best to keep herself calm and forget that she will not be able to attend, but it was impossible she was so into K-Pop that she thought she couldn’t afford missing another concert. She begged her parents to allow her to go once but due to financial status, she couldn’t. Her parents were deeply saddened by their child’s actions, she was depressed and became very fragile. Who would think that a cheerful and outgoing girl like her could have a side like this? She kept on questioning herself, ‘did I do anything wrong on my past life?’, ‘Why am I not born to be rich?’. She was staring to hate that her life was like this. She started sobbing and tries to hold back her sobs but she couldn’t it was impossible. She wanted to see her biases that bad that she’s willing to sell her gadgets for the tickets. She watched her clock’s hour hand move its way to 7:00. She knew it was time to go to school.

She went to school and headed straight to her classroom still maintaining a frown on her face. Her classmates greeted her but she didn’t budge to answer it but decided to go to her seat. She was not on the mood to neither go to school nor hear about the concert. She wanted to be alone.

“Mimi, what’s with the frown?” Her classmate asked her. She just glared at the girl, the girl stepped back and decided not to talk to Chan Mi. Her classmates won’t understand how she felt because they weren’t into K-pop, her best friends were not on the same room as her but all she knew is she wanted to disappear into thin air.

Their homeroom teacher went to their class and started his class. Chan Mi was spacing out all throughout the subject, luckily she wasn’t caught. Deep inside her she knew she’ll be like this for more than a month or less. It was already lunch time, she didn’t realized that time flies so fast. She decided to buy some lunch at the cafeteria and accidentally bumped one of her friends.

“Sorry,” That’s what she only said.

“Chan Mi-ah,” Her friend called her, but instead of looking back she walked straightly and avoided people as much as she can. She knew it was rude for her to act like this but what do you expect from someone who thinks her world just revolves around school, kpop and home.

A few hours passed and she still cared nothing but only about the concert. She tried her very best to understand a little about the topics but she can’t. She also got zero on her quiz. She fixed her things on her bag and plugged her earplugs. She put her phone on shuffle. She decided to take a taxi home.

“Chan Mi, you’re here,” Her mom greeted her, she forced a smile.

She walked towards her room.

“Where are you going?” Her father asked her.

“To my room of course,” She doesn’t want to sound rude but she wanted to rest.
