Cassia's (Not So) Happy Ending

"And do you Cassia Mistfern, take Sorrel O'Shield as your husband and as the king of Outleria?" I nod and say, "I do."

Just as he was about to kiss me, the lights and cameras shut off and I shoved him away from me. "Cut! That was awful, at least try to show some chemistry. Your characters are supposed to be in love!"

I rolled my eyes and started walking to my trailer. I can't believe I got stuck working with Callisto again. Ever since I got cast as Cassia in The Most Wanted everything has gone south. It's just another stupid movie I agreed to as a favor for the director. Don't get me wrong, I love the director but there's only so much they can ask of me.

As I reached for the door to my trailer I heard someone yell, "Wait! Taiga!" I turned to see who it was and saw Callisto Allard booking it towards me.

When he reached me, he said, "Taiga, look I'm sorry. I didn't know we had to do that." I scoffed.

"Oh please, it's almost like you didn't read the script. Oh wait, you didn't."

"Nice Taiga. Real mature."

"Can you try that again with a little less sarcasm? It's not my fault you didn't come prepared. I don't even know how you got the role with how you act. Did you even know our characters were in love?"

"And what about you? You act like this is the worst job you've ever gotten. This could be our big break!"

"Big break? Are you kidding me? My big break was the one that broke our friendship."

"You can't possibly be talking about When All Is Said and Done."

"I am. That was what's carrying my career at this point. I'm done. Have a great day."

I opened the door to my trailer, stepped through it and slammed it in Callisto's face.

Callisto used to be my best friend, but after he left me the second he got the chance right after we wrapped filming on When All Is Said and Done, he lost that title and I lost one of the only friends I had. Now all of a sudden Callisto was playing the role of Cassia's love interest, Sorrel.

The plot was that a crew of pirates, including Cassia, was trying to get rid of some people that were bothering them by hosting a masquerade ball and ended up accidentally taking Sorrel, initially Cassia's enemy, with them. Cassia and Sorrel didn't get along at first, but they eventually fell in love and got married.

Apparently Callisto didn't read the script. Out my small window, I saw Saffron and Allistar's actors talking and eating lunch. I didn't know them very well so I settled for eating my leftover sandwich alone in my trailer.

I don't know what I was going to do about the Callisto situation, but I knew I had to do something.

Or I could do nothing. Once again, it was just a stupid movie.

(So uh hi. I know it's been a hot minute and I apologize for that. I really don't have an excuse besides school stressing me out and lacking motivation of all kinds- anyways, a couple months back I was talking with a friend and the idea of The Most Wanted just being a movie and the characters being played by actors came up and it was going to be the ending but I went a different so Sophia if you're reading this, thank you. I hope this is ok considering I dumped this into my notes app during my math class. Sorry for the long note, happy reading!)
