Killua came to with a slight ringing in his ears. "Ugggghhh" He grumbled, rubbing the back of his head. "Hey kid" He blinked, then glanced up. There was a man. This man had a hat and seemed to be a detective by his clothing. "Huh?" He sat up, and the man frowned slightly. "What are you doing laying on the middle of the street in the dead of night?" Killua glanced up at the sky. Oh, moon's up. "I..." He trailed off. Wait a minute...where am I? Killua sat up, rubbing the back of his head. "I don't know how I got here, or where I am" The man frowned slightly, then held out a hand. Killua grabbed it and let himself be helped up. "What's your name?" He blinked. "Killua" The detective looking guy smiled. "Full name please" Killua opened his mouth, then paused. Why...Why can't I remember my last name?

"I don't...remember" The man paused, frowning slightly. "Parents names?" Killua put a hand to his head. "No" He sighed. "Age? Birthplace?" He racked his brain. "I'm...14. and....I can't remember" He sighed in frustration. "Can you remember anything?" Killua thought hard on this, but... "My name's Killua, I'm 14, and I like chocolate" He looked deeply concerned. "Nothing else?" He shook his head. Why can't I remember anything else? He was enormously confused. "What's your quirk?" Killua paused, then frowned slightly. "A...quirk? What's that?"

The man's eyes widened in shock. "You must have...severe amnesia" Killua huffed. "Well that much is obvious, now what exactly is a 'quirk'? You say it like it's important" He sighed. "A quirk is a super power that 80 of the population has. Your born with your quirk, but you don't develop it for a few years." Killua blinked. Oh. For some reason, it didn't sound that farfetched. "Alright, so what's mine?" The man shrugged. "That's what I was hoping you could tell me" He sighed, then rubbed the back of his head. "So uh...where exactly are we?" The man shook his head, then held out of hand. "I forgot to introduce myself, the name's detective Tsukauchi. Your currently in Mustafau Japan" Killua took the hand, shaking it a bit. "Alright, w-" Suddenly Tsukauchi's eyes widened and he gasped, causing Killua to snatch his hand back with a worried expression. "You good?"

He rubbed his hand. "You nearly broke my hand" he muttered. Killua frowned slightly. "I...didn't even squeeze that hard" The detective blinked, then reached down and picked up a small metal pipe that had broken off of something. "Try squeezing this " He blinked. "Alright" Killua grabbed it and then squeezed. There was the sound of rending metal and both their eyes widened as the pipe was molded with the shape of his hand. "Oh...oh damn" he said, then laughed. "I guess I've got super strength or something?" The detective smiled. "Seems so" He sighed, then glanced around. "So...do I just...stay out here?" Tsukauchi shook his head. "No, you'll need to be given to a family to live with. You're not old enough to go off on your own"

Killua shrugged, then glanced around. "Where do I go then?" Tsukauchi smiled. "We'll take you to a police station and then find you a family to stay with" Killua didn't really have any issues with this, so he started following him. After about 5 minutes, he noticed a weight in his pocket. "Wait, I have something in my pocket" he decided to point out. Tsukauchi glanced over his shoulder at him with an interested expression. He stopped, then slipped a hand into his pocket. He felt the coldness of metal and then slipped it out. It was a yoyo, a heavy one made of a shiny metal. "A...yoyo?" Tsukauchi said curiously, then held a hand out. Killua held it by the string as he set it in his hand, then suddenly Tsukauchi's eyes widened and he removed his hand. "How can you...even carry that thing?"

He blinked. "Huh?" He pointed to the yoyo. "That thing weighs at least 20 KGs, probably more." Killua looked down at the yoyo that was now in his palm. "it doesn't...feel heavy" then, he realized his other pocket was heavy. He grabbed a second out of his other, then swung them around a bit. "Are these weapons or toys?" He mused. Tsukauchi shook his head to clear it and started walking again. "Come with me"

They arrived at the police station, Killua slipped the yoyos back into his pockets. They walked in and made their way to a room, as soon as he walked in he...paused. Tsukauchi glanced back at him in confusion. "Something wrong?" The white walls, the medical supplies, the white bed. Something about it made him... "The room feels...odd. I don't know how to explain it" He said, before walking in. he pushed his feelings down, then sat down on the bed. Tsukauchi sighed, then pressed a button on a wall. A woman came in, she was short and had blonde hair. "yes Tsukauchi?" He gestured to Killua. "this is Killua, he has severe amnesia and can only remember a select few things. He's 14, and apparently has some sort of strength enhancement quirk"

She nodded, then walked in. "Alright there boy, remove your shirt for me so we can run some tests" He blinked. "I...ok?" He slowly slipped of his first shirt, then the second. Both adult's froze in shock, Killua was confused and he looked down. "Well damn" He muttered. He had an 8 pack, and a large one at that. "Those are some very large muscles for a 14 year old, w-" she had been circling around, then paused as she got to his back. "Huh? Something wrong?" He asked, glancing over his shoulder. He froze when he saw her horrified expression. "Ma'am?" He said worriedly. Tsukauchi circled around as well, he felt a little concerned as his expression turned horrified as well. "You guys look really concerned, is there something wrong with my back?"

The woman snapped a picture with her phone, then showed it to him. Killua's eyes widened at what he saw. His back was covered in scars. Burn marks, slashes, whip marks, some he couldn't identify. W-What? "This looks like serious child abuse, what's his last name?" The woman said worriedly. Tsukauchi shook his head "he can't remember, we can draw blood to find out" She grabbed a needle and Killua held an arm out obediently, then blinked as the needle slid in. "hey isn't...isn't that supposed to hurt?" Tsukauchi glanced at him. "Does it not?" he shook his head. "No, not even a little. I didn't even feel a prick." Then he remembered the yoyos. "Oh also I woke up with these. Tsukauchi says there super heavy but they don't seem all that heavy to me" He said, slipping them out and holding them up for her to see after she'd gotten his blood.

"We can get a scale, it'll take some time for the DNA to be processed though" She walked over to a cabinet and rifled around, setting the blood in a machine next to a computer. Tsukauchi looked deep in thought, but Killua was just confused. A hellish amount of scars on my back, and 8 pack, and strangely heavy yoyos in my pockets. Who...who exactly am I? "Alright here, set them down on this" The blonde woman said, resting the scale down on the bed. It looked like one of those you put in your bathroom and step on. He set one down on the scale, then all three of their jaws dropped at the number. "50 KGs?" Tsukauchi murmured in awe. What- I- he swapped the yoyos out, but they weighed the same amount.

Killua stood up and then tossed one in the air a few times, blinking in astonishment. "Damn. I'm strong as hell" he held both yoyos in one hand with a chuckle. "Damn" Tsukauchi sighed. "How's that DNA test going?" The woman bit her lip. "Almost done" Killua got curious and slipped his shirts back on as well as his yoyos in his pocket, then peered over her shoulder at the computer. After a few moments, a message came up. No files. The woman stiffened in shock. "He's not in the database" She said in disbelief. Tsukauchi came over and his eyebrows raised at the screen. "Are you sure you did th-" She spoke over him. "yes! I did! But he's not registered in the database at all. Maybe he's just not from Japan?" The woman muttered the last part, before clicking a few buttons. There was a loading screen for a few moments, then the message came up again. No files. The two adults exchanged baffled glances, but Killua went back over to sit down on the bed. I guess... I'm a mystery.
