Ten

"Should we exchange numbers?" Changkyun asked as they cleaned up. Luca beamed at the boy before getting out his phone for the exchange. Both boys put in their information, but didn't swap with each other. "Aren't you two going to exchange?", he asked. Changkyun looked away while Jooheon smiled cheekily. "Nah, we already know each other pretty well." Lulu nodded as he glanced at the scowling boy. Catching his gaze he sighed before explaining. "We usually end up stuck together in this class." Jooheon nodded along. "Really? Well, you two do seem really compatible.", he said, mostly unsurprised these days. Knowing Mr. Kim, he probably was playing games. He seemed like the type to play matchmaker. Or rather, try to.

Jooheon nodded again, "That's what I said! But Changkyun keeps being mean to me." the boy whined. Lulu observed the pair for a moment. "He won't give me a chance Lulu! I'm basically being bullied into the friend zone.", Jooheon said dramatically while leaning towards Changkyun. The other boy promptly peeled Jooheon off of himself and scooted away. Luca snorted as the boys broke into another petty argument.

Art ended peacefully.

Taehyung didn't even try to trap him in the room this time.

The man said he was happy to let him make friends (to invite to their wedding).

English seemed like it was going to go smoothly as well. Their teacher, Jin, was practically beaming as class began. Mr. Kim told them he had received wonderful news earlier and was feeling very merciful. He then announced there would be a seating chart, but you could pick where you would sit for the year.

The classroom was set up with desks grouped into fours staggered around the room. Luca debated his position as students wandered around. He moved towards the back of the room near the door. He was already fluent in english, so maybe he could slip under the radar and fumble through some math during class.

"Little transer? Where did you go?", Mr. Kim called suddenly. Luca turned towards the searching teacher and raised an arm. "Oh good! I heard you're one of the well traveled ones. Come sit with my internationals." Jin waved the boy over and sat him in the opposite corner of the room near the windows. 

"You little gremlins don't need any attention really, no offense, so I like to tuck you all in the corner together.", Jin said sweetly as he patted the petite boys head. "Just don't make too much noise and stay out of trouble. If you finish early I'll even let you work on other subjects in here." He ruffled Luca's hair before moving back towards the front.

"So where are you from, transfer?", one of his tablemates asked in english. The boy looked tall, even sitting down. "Daegu.", he said, "My mom is from New Jersey though, so I visited there a lot." The other boys nodded. "I'm Johnny", the tall one waved, "I'm from Chicago. Welcome to the school and the corner of shame." the smaller boy next to him snickered at that. "Stop calling it that. I'm Mark by the way. I'm from Canada." Mark scolded Johnny for naming their corner. 

"They're basically an old married couple." the final boy said. He looked at the two with disgust before turning to Luca. "I'm Kibum, but just call me Key. I'm not actually "well traveled" like Mr. Kim said, I just learned English on my own." 

The final member was very nice to talk to. 

Which was a relief because all Johnny and Mark seemed to do was talk to each other.

 Luca found himself looking at them throughout the class. They seemed content with just each other. 

Maybe they are dating?

Maybe relationships are more common than what he heard. 

Noona said she picked this school because she knew he was 'definitely not straight' or in her actual words, "There's no fucking way I'm putting you in a dorm with a bunch of heteros because they'll eat your gay ass alive, and not in the fun way." Hence why he was in this 'All orientation friendly' private boys school.

Oh.

Yeah, that probably means these are his people for sure then.

Wait.

Does this mean...

The time has arrived for Kim Luca to potentially get a boyfriend? 

(Or seven)

Luca whipped his head over to Key for answers. The boy was already staring at him with an eyebrow raised. "You figuring stuff out over there?", he said amused.

Lu leaned in towards the boy, not wanting to be heard. Seeing this, Key did the same.

"Are they... like together?", he whispered to the boy. Key snorted before answering, "I don't know honestly. Seems like everyone loves Mark. Johnny's just one of many."

Luca grabbed the boys hand as he felt his excitement begin to rise. "So, at this school that's... normal?" He tried not to let the hope show on his face, but it must have from the way Kibum's face softened. "Yeah, it is."

As Luca sat in deep thought, something occurred to Key.

"Wait", he said after a few moments, "Are you telling me you didn't realize half the school is interested in you?" Lulu turned to the boy confused. Mark and Johnny stopped to focus on their smallest seatmate. 

"Well I heard transfers are rare, but I think the excitement will die down."

Key felt his eye twitch at the naive response. "No dude, like people wanna get with you.", Mark chimed in.

He was met with a blank stare.

"You gotta be more direct.", Johnny chimed in. Turning to Luca, he leaned in, "They wanna fuck you, newbie." 

Unable to fully accept this new information, Lu turned to Key then Mark, only to receive nods of agreement.  "Probably other things too.", Mark added unhelpfully. 

Kibum patted him on the back in sympathy, but the boy remained silent. 

No way. (Yes, Lulu)

Surely this is a joke. This must be their way of teasing new people. (It's definitely not)

"Sure", Lu finally said with a giggle. "and I'm Beyonce." (I mean... if they like it then they better put a ring on it)

The boys looked at each other but decided to let it go. He'll find out soon enough.

I forgot to add a note up top :') 

I thought it'd be fun to make Lulu realize that literally everyone in school is a potential boyfriend. Ha, maybe that makes it more difficult for BTS but certainly not Min Yoongi. We already know he's comfortable fighting children ;p

We'll be doing some fast forwarding up ahead to get that juicy romance brewing.
