Door creaking as an open mouth, a few shadows started to appear in your sight, evident that the corridor was not deprived of any light and the highlight fell on your part as some figures, five in number and strangely familiar, entered through the same.
Your eyes as your lips, parted wide in realizing the strange and opposite atmosphere to that you saw in your world, wishing for not once dreamed of this drastic change, your orbs landed on the band that had just lighted the sky but in a heavily raining day.
"Hyung!" Hoseok cried upon seeing the presence, you recognized and the faces smiled at you all. While one of them just looked at you, his eyes suspecting your identity that was surely new for him.
"Hello Bangtan!" One of them exclaimed delightfully, his cheeks litting in a glow he blew on his own and you recognized him as Soobin.
"Hello sunbaenim." Jungkook bowed shyly and straightened his spine but his gaze still hovered over the floor, where some feet half an hour ago was beating onto in a rhythm, he excluded.
"Hi.....Jungkook is it?" Soobin asked and Jungkook nodded immediately.
"How are you all doing sunbaes?" Namjoon asked as he beeped his dimple smile and Beomgyu glanced at him and passed a handsome smile.
"Doing well, and how are you all?" He asked.
"Well enough." Namjoon said and smiled brightly. Well, he was nice at pretending and an act of agreeing to something that wasn't the reality. Humans were the best creature to do so, anyways.
You heard a soft scoff from Yoongi and you eyed him by the corner of your eyes and found him looking at Namjoon with shrewd ones. You closed yours and sighed.
"Well," You heard a voice, that you were used to listening to in your world as well but in a fast tempo in the form of rhythm and poetry speak and you glanced at the source of the same, only to find him, tilting his head at your direction, "Who is this lady?" Your eyes slightly went wide as you realized, they would surely question the new 'atmosphere' that was only you but didn't think they would actually let the question slip past their minds.
So you automatically, as a robot in your century springing immediately to life with a screw just rotated behind, bowed and spoke, "Hello....I am L/n Y/n and I am from—"
"Massachusetts!" Jungkook exclaimed, cutting you off as you looked at him with confused eyes.
I told them I was from the parallel world, why Massachusetts again? Was the thought that now slipped past your thought box and you slightly knitted your eyebrows at him, that no a piece of cloth would be born out of it but a cloth of confusion.
"She is from Massachusetts," He said and grinned his bunny teeth at the elders as well as you as his eyes fell on yours and you tilted your head, "You came today right?" He asked, as if he tried to make up for a lie he just knitted, his gaze still at yours and one by one each of the pair of eyes fell on you as if Jungkook's orbs just lead the way to a border to conquer.
Your body stiffened under the gazes that were opposite to your own in two fashions, as you felt your face heating up a bit and ears turning red when you asked your mind about that. You nodded and muttered, "Yeah." They didn't question any further and just nodded, resolving their gazes back to each other and you immediately let out a 'phew', mentally.
"So, are you all free today?" Jimin asked the five membered band, breaking the quiet atmosphere from one parallel world to another one where people had voices to speak freely. (referring to a comfortable workplace like Hybe I guess)
"I fear no....we just came by to meet acquaintances you know." Taehyun, as you recognized spoke.
"Yeah.....schedule is really busy nowadays, I might even break a bone or two of my neck one day." The youngest of their team, still older than you all spoke as everyone let out a small laugh at his words. As said, humans were the best at pretending for a bird would fly to its dreams, a dog wriggling its tail in an honest joy, a cat meowing in its strange and own misery, ants climbing up their own stairs in hard work and even an owl being loyal enough to show up only in nights to balance things but humans, to weave their own wings, ceasing the tails to dance, subsiding their own voices, hiding the hard work while yet again pretending to close their eyes in night as if they could not hardly see.
