Chapter 26
________________________________________________________________________Harry's POV
They've left me. They left me standing before the room that Andy is in. Zayn and Louis was hesitant to leave, but they knew that I was the one Andy wanted to see the most so they gave me some space and went with the others. Niall left the room earlier with a hint of nervousness as if he was hiding something. He kept his lips pursed together and his head bowed. It made me feel suspicious. Wait, what if Niall had something to do with Andy's bruises? He was with her all the time! But I know for sure that he wouldn't do such a thing.
Without thinking twice, I went in as my eyes squinted through the bright lights that lit up the room. Beeping monitors greeted my ears as my eyes roamed around in search of Andy. This is weird, what kind of a flat is this? A mini clinic? Who has a mini clinic in a flat? Well, it was a great idea though, and Ashton is a graduate from medical science, so it's quite useful. Suddenly, I stopped. My eyes bore into Andy's weak frame laid on the white bed. Her eyes were shut, her chest rising up and down with her constant breathing. She looked so fragile, as if I'd touch her, she'd break into pieces, so vulnerable. I could practically see her veins popping out. Yes, that's how thin she is right now. I walked over to her, sat on the single chair that was placed beside her and took her hand in mine.
Her eyes fluttered opened and she smiled as soon as she saw me, "Hey." She said with her voice cracking in the end.
"Hey." I responded, smiling down at her. Her eyes twinkle through those tears that were starting to form.
"Hey, don't cry," I cooed.
She inhaled deeply and let out a very shaky sigh, closing her eyes again. "You should go now Harry." She said, withdrawing her hand from mine.
I looked at her in confusion. I was hurt when she said that. She wanted me to leave. But.. well, she wanted me to leave so I guess I'll just have to then. Reluctantly, I stood up and turned my back on her but before I could take a step forward, she grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards her.
"Harry.. I-I.." She stuttered, and I was expecting her to maybe say 'I love you' or something like that. but when those five words slipped her lips, my whole self shattered into pieces, "I'm breaking up with you."
At first I thought she was joking, I mean, we just got back together and now she's breaking up with me? I can't believe this lass! Anger rushed inside me and I could feel my blood boiling. Does she think that it's easy for me to handle this? Am I really that low to her?
I chuckled bitterly and wiped the tears that were forming in my eyes before they could slip out. I shook my head, chorus of bitter snickers continuing to escape my lips. "You know what? Bullshit. Why are you always like this? I mean, why are we always like this? For one moment, we're cuddling and being all lovey dovey and then we start to fall into pieces. We make up and we break up all the time. Why, Andy? Are you just playing with me? Because if you are, then I hope you're having a grand jolly well time."
She didn't respond. Only tears were dripping out from her eyes as she looked away from me. Her bottom lip bit down whilst she tried to contain the sobs that were daring to escape her pale lips.
"Why, Andy?" I demanded an answer.
"You just don't understand, Harry. I don't want you to get hurt, okay?" She cried, clutching on her duvets as more tears fell.
"Get hurt?" I laughed nonchalantly, trying my best to hold back the tears but eventually, I couldn't, "Get hurt? Andy, are you too insensitive enough to not know that I'm hurt already?"
