Chapter 1

Darkness. The word had no definite meaning to how he felt about the place that had no light. The word could mean loneliness, to show the bearing of a dark soul which has no light for comfort as he gets suffocated by his own appearance to the world. Or it could actually be describing the place of nothingness with no living soul close enough for Kyungsoo to feel it's presence. His eyes wondered around the dark void that had no certain end. Nothing came to view, everything was to dark. There was an unknown light illuminating above him being his only source of light and somewhat comfort.

His mouth opened to speak but no words escaped, instead he felt suffocated by the thick air around him which called for him to rest into a deep slumber and for him to let the darkness consume him whole. The omega held onto his neck feeling the air being stripped away from him like he was being choked making it hard for him to breathe. He collapsed to his knees panting vigorously trying to grasp onto his own life.

'Is this how my life ends??'

'Am I doomed to be consumed by the dark abyss that calls for my slumber??'

'Shall I die with no one by my side to comfort me, to protect me, to love me??'

'Is this how I leave the world, all alone??'

'Please don't let this be the end, let me live, let me love, let me feel loved. Please!?'

The omega was starting to feel dizzy, his mind could not grasp onto anything anymore as he felt lightheaded. His eyes were getting droopy, vision starting to blur. His ears were ringing in a certain tone and he was about ready to lose the fight. He closed his eyes about to lose consciousness and accept defeat.

"Kyungsoo..." Before he could blackout the omega heard somebody calling out for him. He could not see the person but he could feel their presence around him approaching him and kneeling in front of him.

"Kyungsoo stay with me..." The omega felt soft firm hands placed against his cheeks caressing at his soft skin which kept him awake. The omega felt the urge to open his eyes, to see his rescuer, to remember the face of the person who saved his life, but he couldn't. His eyes were closed shut refusing to open up, like they were glued shut no matter how hard he tried they wouldn't bare with him.

"Don't fight it. It's best you never see me, so that we never meet. It's the only way we can survive this."

"Survive what??" The omega questioned voice faint as he still was trying to grab a hold of his breath.

"One of us is doomed to die. "

"How are you sure of that??"

"Kyungsoo??"

"It is our fate as mates. I already lost you in the other life, I am not about to lose you again." Kyungsoo could hear the visible pain in the others voice as he recalled the painful memory of their past lives.

"What if we do meet?? What if I want to be with you even if our fate is doomed??"

"Kyungsoo!?"

"I am doing my best so that never happens. Our dreams are the only places we can be together." A soft pair lips was pressed onto the omega's forehead lingering at the same spot for a few seconds before the other person stripped himself away from the omega
