CUPID LOVE

"Yixing, I know you know, what you will face when you made this decision."

"My decision is final. I'll give up being a cupid. I want to feel love. I want to love someone. Even though that someone is a different kind."

"If --- if that's what you want. I'll grant that. Remember. Once you leave, you can't comeback anymore Yixing."

Yixing exited and went to give up being a cupid. 

Yixing is know to be the son of the king in their cupid world. Once his father knew his decision, he was bewildered. He could not think of any reason why would Yixing would do such thing. The King thought of any ideas that would persuade him to change his mind. But none of this worked. In the end, the King let him go. 

Yixing is facing now the portal out of their world. He took a deep breath. "Good bye." He took a step forward and finally entered the portal. The portal from their world to Earth. Yixing closed his eyes while passing the portal.

"Wah he is so handsome."

"Take a picture of him."

Yixing was suddened. There he realize, he is on Earth already. Yixing wears a clueless face while roaming around his eyes and examining the sorroundings. He started walking. He can't help to be amazed. "I'm on Earth now." He plastered a smile. 

He walked like a kid. Swaying his arms side by side and bouncing back and forth. He stop in between when he saw a light."Oh that's a --" He saw three lights. Red, yellow and green. "A traffic light." Since Yixing is a cupid, he started to learn things about humans. "It's green. I need to stop." He waited patiently along with the other people. 

There's a high school girl passed by him. The girl walked fast and unable to see the signal light. Yixing saw that a running car is about to hit here. He ran like flash and pushed her off the road. "Gwenchanayo?" [are you ok?] Yixing helped her stood up. He could see some wonds on her knees and elbow. "Ahh yeah.I'm ok.Thank you very much for saving my life."

"Come I'll bring you home." The girl pulled Yixing's arm. Yixing directly responded. 

"I'm home!" The girl shouted. An old lady came out from the kitchen. "Ohh Minyoung you're here." They shared a hug. Yixing stayed stiff at the back. "Yahh. Minyoung. How many times do I have to remind you to stop fighting?Come I'll clean those wonds. This girl really." The old lady saw Minyoung's wonds. "Uhmma! I stopped already.By the way uhmma." Minyoung looked back and pulled Yixing infront. "He's the reason why Iam still alive now." From the old lady's face you can tell she's confuse. "Why?" 

"I was walking carelessly awhile ago and didn't notice the signal light.I was about to be hit by a car but this guy." Minyoung eyed Yixing. "This guy saved me.He's like an angel." Yixing flashed and smile. "Wahh that's true?" Yixing knod. "Well we awe you alot young man.Why won't you have your dinner here." Minyoung lead the way for Yixing to the kitchen.

"Take a seat. Feel at home. Don't be shy." Minyoung's mom offered. "Uhmmm what's your name?" Minyoung suddenly asked. Yixing started to panic. He can't tell his real name for some reasons. He looked around. "Ahhhh I'm ---- Lay. Yeah I'm Lay." Yixing saw a wrapper of chips. That's where he got it. "Ohh such a nice name. By the way I'm Minyoung. Jung Minyoung. This is my mom." Minyoung pointed her.

"Where do you live?" That made Lay break down mentally. "Damn where do I live." He said inside his head. It took minutes and minuted for Lay to respond. "Uhmm to tell you exactly --- I don't have a place to stay." Lay said out of the blue. Minyoung and her mom look pitty. "Why won't you stay here. Since we have an extra room and we owe much." Minyoung's mom is really great. It relieved Lay. "If you don't mind."

Lay's stay, lasted for years. Luckily Jungs family is really that kind. Lay started his human life. Lay and Minyoung entered the same school. And guess what, they became really really really really close. That much. To the point they entered into a relationship.

Lay fell inlove with Minyoung. Lay admired here great attitude, her beauty and excellence in class. Luckily Minyoung also has the same feeling. Minyoung descovered that Lay is an ace in dancing that made her fell for him more. Minyoung fell in love with Lay, when they first met.From Lay saving her. There relationship went really swift. 

But up until now. Lay didn't reveal his real identity to Minyoung. She might run away. Lay is just finding the right time. For years of living on Earth, Lay also uncover that some cupid's are by his side, especially his parents. The kept on showing up on his dreams and in times of danger they were there. 

That's why, when Lay saved Minyoung, he didn't received any wonds or pain. It was his mom who protected him. Even his parents felt upset and betrayed after Lay's decisions, they didn't leave his side. 

"Minyoung do you have any plans later after class?" Lay approached a busy Minyoung. "I'll just have to finish this right now and after this I'm free." Lay felt the orge to tell Minyoung the truth. "Can we go to the park, where we usually go?". Minyoung agreed and continued her work.

"Lay what brought us here?" Minyoung started. They are in the park right now. It's a bit dim right now. "Minyoung I have to tell you something..." Lay held Minyoung's hands. "About my true identity." They both look at each other intently. "Iam not a normal person. I'm a cupid before. But --- but that was before. I'm a full human now." Lay kept his eyes on her and his hands on her. Lay is really nervous to how she will react. 

Minyoung broke the eye contact and the holding hands. She started laughing. "Hahahahahahahaha Lay." Lay didn't expect that reaction. "Yah Minyoung I'm serious here." Minyoung went back normal and stopped laughing. "I know Lay. I know. We know that you are not a human.You know how?" There's tons of questions on Lay's mind. "Remember when we were at the gym." Lay started to recall. "We were cleaning the whole gym at that time. When I was about to be hit by the falling box. You used your powers. I don't know if it came from you or someone else. But I'm sure it has something to do with you." "So she suspected already." 

"That time I didn't stressed out thinking of that. Maybe it's just my imagination. What made me push through with that imagination. Is, when uhmma was in the kitchen. When the knife is about to fall on uhmma's foot. But you stopped it and just acted like nothing happened."

"I know Lay. Even my mom knows. But we don't care. As what you have said, you are a full human now. No problem with that. We will accept who you are and what you are before or now."

Lay reached for a hug. "Thank you so much Minyoung." Minyonung patted Lay's back. "Just be careful when using that power ok? People might suspect you and might take advantage." 

Lay knod. "Let's go home now.Uhmma is probably waiting."
