Branch was just too excited to go straight home after his talk with Poppy, so instead, he decided to go on a quick walk to the lagoon, sitting on the end of the long purple dock, so that he could look up at the stars, smiling wide as he thought about his life.
He was actually happy again. After all those years of being grey and miserable... he was finally happy again. Even better... he finally had a shot with the girl of his dreams... How could his life possibly get any better?
Slowly, he looked down at the watch that hung around his neck, smiling at it happily, his heart souring at the sight. He honestly couldn't believe Poppy had kept it after all these years. She really did care about him... just like he cared about her...
Branch sighed, his heart overflowing with happiness, as he looked back up at the star filled sky, his feet dangling into the cool water below.
He knew he would have to go home soon, but for now... he just wanted to enjoy the night, looking up at the stars as he thought about Poppy. He couldn't wait for their date the next night. It's been a long time since he had been looking forewords to something... but now that he had Poppy... his life was finally worth living. And he had a long life ahead of him... or... so he thought...

Up on the top of a rather tall hill, Creek was hiding behind a tree, using a pair of binoculars to watch Branch sneakily, as he cackled evilly to himself.
"Try to escape this one, mate..." he said softly with a sinister grin, before walking over to a Caturbus that was parked nearby.
Carefully, the purple nuisance turned the wheel of the bus, aiming the large critter straight at Branch, before quickly climbing out through its wide open mouth.
Laughing evilly, he looked down at Branch one last time, before throwing a heavy rock onto the gas pedal of the Caterbus, sending it instantly flying down the hill at top speed.
"Bye bye, Branchie," he cackled, rubbing his hands together in evil delight, as he watched the Caturbus drive at high speeds towards the little blue troll who was still sitting on the end of the dock, completely unaware of the approaching danger...

Branch continued looking up at the stars with a loving grin plastered right on his face, his ear suddenly twitching a bit as a quiet rumbling sound began coming up behind him.
"What the..." he muttered softly to himself in confusion, the noise quickly getting closer and closer to him.
Slowly, the little blue troll turned to see what was creating the sound, his eyes widening in horror as he saw the Caturbus hurtling straight towards him...
He was frozen in fear, as he watched it quickly approaching. He couldn't scream... he couldn't move... all he could do was watch, as the caturbus drove right into him, everything instantly going black...
