A Reunion

A blue car was slowly driving up to a house, simple start right. The driver of this car was former Super Bob Parr. Formerly known as Mr Incredible. He looked really close to being too big to be in the car. In all meanings of the word. The man was built like a tank, which was appropriate considering his super strength and normally nigh indestructible powers.

He seemed unnaturally annoyed, he'd gone through yet another day. With a cruel boss in a insurance company. It goes against who he is, he was born to be a hero. But as he takes out a rolled up newspaper he has Bob sighs softly as he reads the most important part 'Supers Now Deemed Illegal!' he put the paper away.

"That's the way the world is now" he shook his head sadly. And closed his car door. He headed to his house door and pulled out his keys from his pocket and unlocked the door. Walking inside he was greeted by his family. Well really only his wife Helen.

"Hey hun, how was work?" she asked having gotten up to walk over to him. Gently placing a hand on his shoulder

"The usual. Sometimes I wonder why there of all places I went to. My boss cares more about keeping the company good than doing the right thing. I've had to secretly guide people to places they can actually be helped. It's insane" he threw his arms up slightly in frustration.

"I know Bob, it must be frustrating but it's the best we've got. There's no where else to work" she assured him and calmed him as he sighed and sat down.

Dash, a blonde child and son of Helen and Bob, seemed to have a realisation of some sort "isn't there your super rich friend who had the Super bodyguard?" he asked.

Helen slowly looked at Bob. Who rubbed the back of his head as he'd been reminiscing about their old friend and knowing him he may have ended up accidentally hinting their friend's identity as a hero.

"Tony is busy with a really advanced company. Besides we're really out of contact" Helen tried brushing it off and headed to attend to their youngest child Jack-Jack.

"Weeell. Why don't you invite him for dinner?" Dash asked. Looking at both his parents. Violet rubbed her chin thinking.

"Yeah, he's a friend right. It's always good to stay in touch" Violet mumbled just barely loud enough to hear.

Bob and Helen looked at each other thinking what to do. Bob gave a certain look of 'come on' then Helen shrugged "alright, I'll see if I can get into contact with him" She replied.

Helen walked to her and Bob's room going through many drawers to find a notebook. She went through pages and soon found something listed as 'TS- 212-970-4133' and she looked to the phone nearby.

Stark Tower, New York City

Sitting at a desk in a chair facing a large window was genius inventor Tony Stark. Gently rubbing his forehead to sooth the headache he'd gotten from  dealing with allegations. He suddenly heard a voice speak up from no particular source

"Sir your receiving a call from a new number, on your personal number" It was Tony's artificial intelligence called Jarvis.

"Strange. Jarvis connect me through, whoever this is I gave my number to." he waited as soon a beep was heard "Anthony Edward Stark. Who is this?"

"Is that any way to greet an old friend Tones?"

Tony sat up slightly and turned to face the speaker on his desk "...Helen?" he asked

"Hey Tony. Been a long time" Helen's reply was very true. It had been maybe nearly half a decade since they last spoke and even longer since they last met in person.

"Oh my god it is you, and yes it has been a long time. What's got you calling suddenly? Not that I'm complaining" he leant back in his chair smirking to himself.

"Bob's job is getting to him too much, they don't care about helping their customers. They care about the money."

"And you thought to ask me for financial help?" Tony asked raising an eyebrow to himself as even with the time it's been that didn't sound like them.

"well no it was Dash's idea plus inviting you for dinner. I know your a busy man so if your too held up don't worry about it"

"Dash? Last I saw him he could barely understand his own words" he remarked "I think my schedule is wide open for that. And don't worry about the address we've been on the call long enough for me to get your location. Hope you don't mind, after all I had no idea who was calling me, I'll be over tomorrow"

Helen laughing momentarily could be heard then she spoke "great to hear. It'll be good seeing you again. Oh, gotta go. Newest kid is quote on quote. Calling for attention. I'll see you Tony" Helen hung up and Tony chuckled.

"Jarvis mark down the location and prepare me a ride there for tomorrow" Tony said standing up from his desk and downing what was left in his glass he set it down and began walking "oh, and notify Pepper I'll be gone for a while"

Timeskip

At the Parr residence Helen was setting plates down with Bob moving over a chair as well as a bigger table in general. With Violet holding Jack-Jack and Dash excitedly running around "slow down Dash, your gonna knock something over"

"Oh lighten up Violet, we're finally meeting someone mom and dad knew from ages ago." he retorted but did settle down when he was held still by Helen who had stretched her arm over. Then let go.

"Alright, Tony should be arriving soon and I want the both of you on your best behaviour okay?" Helen looked at both of them.

They nodded slowly with Violet fully meaning it and Dash... Eh he'll decide later.

Just as Helen said that the entire family could hear a vehicle park outside. "I'll go answer. Make sure everything is calm....er than normal" Bob assigned the roles and Helen nodded as Bob headed to the door.

As Bob opened the door Tony stood there having been moments from knocking "Ah. Bob! Good to see you" Tony grinned at him. "I'd ask how's the family but I'm more than likely going to meet them again soon"

Bob laughed to shake off his nerves seeing his fellow super and friend hasn't changed much.

"Tony. Great seeing you again. We've got a lot of catching up to do" with that they both laughed. This was going to be an interesting reunion
