When the child was born, it took both of their magic and energy to bring it into the world. Ink and Error both drained of energy, so tired and they both had pretty much bags under their eyes. Ink was sleeping in their apartment as they already moved in. Ink slept on the couch with Gradient in the crib next to him. Error was in bed sleeping. The door soon got knocked as Error got up and groaned, he wanted Ink to rest, Gradient was a super quiet baby so Error and Ink were glad about that, Error opened it and it was Geno. Error hummed and let him in, Geno came and went over to Gradient "Oh so cute." He whispered "He looks exactly like you." Geno whispered since Ink was asleep. Error sat on the foot of the couch with Ink as he nodded. "Yeah, hopefully he isn't exactly like me." He said. Geno played with his tiny hands "He even has your hands." Geno smiled and then sighed "Error, are you going to be like dad?" He asked Error. Error frowned and sighed "I don't know, I don't want to be. They say the way you're raised is how you'll end up in the future." Error hummed "I'm still young though, I may be legally an adult but I'm not an adult, neither is Ink. Just a few months ago I tried to kill myself! Even to this day I still think I should." Error looked down and then his rested his eyes. Geno nodded "You should sleep some, go take Ink upstairs and you two rest, I'll watch him." Geno smiled and Error huffed chuckling "Don't let Reaper touch him if he comes over. I know he will come over eventually, he's obsessed with you." Error picked Ink up and he took him to the bedroom as Ink slept. Geno chuckled "No promises."
Error sat in a creaky wooden chair, he looked around, it being all black. Error was confused yet content on where he was, it felt cold, it felt like he was meant to be there "Am I dead?" He spoke yet no sound had come out. Error stood up but a hand had pushed him down as the wooden chair broke and he began to fall in a deep hole, only to see that he was falling quite slowly as he looked up to see who pushed him, it was Ink. Ink had opened his mouth and everything went quiet, just for Error to hear Ink whisper
"I don't love you. No one does."
Error shot up awake as he gasped a bit as he swear, he looked around to see Ink had been painting in the room as he looked at Error "Are you okay?" He smiled. Error watched him, a bit angry as he huffed "I'm fine." He replied boldly. Error knew it was a nightmare, but it felt so real. Ink was confused and smiled softly "Is Nightmare tricking your mind?" Ink smirked, Error rolled his eyes "Nightmare is kind of grownup now, i've never seen him so mature before."Error hummed "He doesn't do that stuff anymore." Error said. Ink smiled "Well yeah, everyone is in a relationship now and having kids! We all graduated a few months ago, things are changing." Ink painted a small landscape. Error huffed and got up "I'm going on a walk." He told him. "It's raining." Ink was confused as Error "Good."
Error passed Geno and Reaper cuddling on the couch as Gradient slept, Error walked outside as he put his hood on as he looked at the forest where he tried to drown himself. Error sighed and walked away from it, he was thinking about that nightmare he had, he bit his lip and growled "Ugh." He whispered to himself and scoffed, he wanted to just disappear. He then gasped and remembered Gradient, he stood there as the rain poured. He smiled and chuckled to himself "Geez i'm a mess." He took his hood off and started to run towards his home, he then opened the door as he hummed and closed it after him. He then sat on the couch as he picked Gradient up and grossed out then sighed smiling, holding him close. "I have to grow up." Error told Geno as Geno smiled and nodded. Reaper chuckled and Geno elbowed him "Oowww."
Error and Geno laughed and watched Reaper be a crybaby.
