Emotionless

Chapter Three

Natsu's P.O.V. (I'll not do anyone's P.O.V. other than Lucy's very often.)

Luigi is a weirdo. That's all there is to it. She's a weirdo. Who just does everything they are told?! It's insane! Gramps told us to befriend her, but that's hard to do when it feels like she's... Weird. How is it possible to befriend someone who doesn't really care about having friends?

I catch her sent as she enter the guild. She smells like vanilla and strawberries. And, as expected, she walks straight up to the bar to get herself some milk. She had told us yesterday about where I came from. When I had confronted her about it yesterday she had said that my parents had probably died in a carriage crash, and that she wasn't saying anything else.

"Hey, Lucy, how are you?" Mira asked. "I am as healthy as I am capable of being. I am not dying anytime soon." Lucy replied.

Is she serious? A yes is all she needed to say! I thought. "Um. Not what I meant, but okay!" Mira smiled.

"Happy, want to go on a mission?" I asked my blue furred friend. "Sure!" he replied automatically.

We went up to the board when Master called us over. "What's up, Gramps?" I asked. "I want you to take Lucy out on a mission and try to become friends with her." he replied. "What?! Why me?" I asked. "Because you are one of the more outgoing people in the guild. And that's saying something." Gramps told me.

Holding in my complaints, I walked over to the weirdo, and asked her if she would like to join me and Happy on a mission.

Lucy's P.O.V.

I thought about what Pinky said. I'm supposed to be making friends here, but I have no need for either friends or the money you get from doing missions. "No, thank you." I replied monotonously. "I don't need to go on a mission." Mira decided on butting into our conversation. "Why don't you go, Lucy. It would be good for your body if you got up and moved around." Mira made a good point. I don't exactly care what happens to my body but my dad does for some reason. He said it had something to do with guys wanting to marry a pretty lady instead of a fat one.

"Okay then." I replied. "Where are we going?" "Harbor Bay." Natsu replied.

A/N; Yes, yes. I know this chapter was super short, but I had writers block so I'm extremely lucky I finished this. I hope everyone enjoyed reading this chapter because (SPOILER ALERT!) next chapter is the mission Natsu, Lucy and Happy are going on. And Lucy develops a new emotion! Bye!
