I craned my neck as hard as i could to get even a glimpse of that familiar face, but i hadn't any luck. The room was too crowded now. The boys had just come back from tour and it's been two long months since we've seen each other, but the long distance wasn't a bother with him calling 24/7 all he could & sending presents w/ love overseas. But still, it wasn't the same when he was there beside me. I searched the crowd again. All of a sudden, a pair of hands covered my eyes and made me jump surprisingly. As i turned around, my heart sank to see who it was instead, "Oh. Hi Harry. do you know where L--". He cut me off, pulling me away. Just like that he dragged me off by the arm with an iron grip before i could even finish. "Harry! I have no time for this!," i screamed but he didn't seem to hear me. He led me away from the party and out the backyard then up the treehouse, just right outside another doorway. When we got to the top of the stairs he finally let me go. With a smug smirk on his face he said, "There. Just what you need. Thank me later." And he scooted off. I tried calling back to him but he sped off quicker than you could say 'bullocks'. I groaned. This wasn't what i needed. What I needed to do was find--
I lost my train of thought as i heard music playing that wasn't from the party. I recognized it. It was my favorite mellow love song & it was coming from inside the treehouse.
I stepped foot inside the doorway in treehouse where Harry left me and was surprised to see a candlelit table for two with food already served. I took one step closer. Again, a pair of hands covered my eyes, "Harry, knock it off." he cleared his throat, "Sorry, love but Harry's not gonna be joining us tonight." i froze. "it's just going to be me and you." His voice was all too familiar to my ears. i turned around, and there he was right in front of me with a rose placed in his mouth..Louis <3
I smiled amused as he made goofy faces when i stared at him. In that instant, i jumped up for a hug and there i fit perfectly into his arms as he spun me around the second he caught me. The spinning stopped then but we hadn't let go. "I've missed you so much", he whispered, hugging me tighter. I smiled, holding back tears, "And words can't describe how I've missed you". He kissed me on my forehead and then led me to the table then we ate. We caught up, laughed & just enjoyed ourselves being together again.
After dinner, he led me to the top of the treehouse, away from the party and we sat on open window edges. It was beautiful, all there was was us and the evening sky. We held hands and just stared at the stars for awhile, my head resting on his shoulder. Then later, i looked at him and he looked at me. No longer holding back my tears, i said " I love you Louis.. and i will forever.." He caressed my face with his hand and wiped my tears with the other then held my hand, "I love you so much more Christine. But forever? Forever won't be enough for me to show you how entirely, how completely and how much i dearly..love you." and in that moment, everything was perfect. For once, it really felt like we were the only people on Earth. And i will cherish that moment in my heart, forever and always <3
